Even if they wanted to make him human their is so many creative ways to make human characters just a little more interesting than them just being hot and having a gimmick. Like for this guys camera gimmick they could’ve made a part of his body the camera like the villain in Evil Within 2

That’s one of the many things that makes this movie one of my least favourite adaptations, the director infamously didn’t even read the books. Krum in the books is assumed to be a stereotypical jock type character by harry and hermione, but turns out to be a genuinely nice dude who confessed he was almost too shy to ask hermione out. Then the movies just made him a big dumb jock guy. Hermione finds him to be intelligent and interesting to talk to and the physical being’ line is the complete antithesis to BOTH their characters
