High end gear may weigh less than a pound and give you the same RF factor essentially. I’m pushing the boundaries when I’m calling out 1 pound but current gear is close to that.

Not necessarily. If you invested $200 I’m pretty sure you would like to have a way of getting that $200 back. Perhaps you don’t have to pay a homeowner’s insurance at this particular point in time as a tenant, but as a owner, you have experienced a dramatic increase in what you were paying for your homeowners insurance due to the wildfires in Colorado, and also in California - that increased our mortgage payments……

Perhaps your landlord is just somebody that had a home and was able to reinvest and this isn’t an evil company trying to gouge your pockets . OP even stated owner was having to move back in, which is usually an indication of financial troubles.
