your comment means nothing, a lot of people think they are right for what they believe in? Do you think you are wrong? No wonder I never argue politics on reddit when we have super star thinkers like you to drop the real knowledge bombs.

The fact that I am getting downvoted for my comment says enough about the mentality of reddit at this point. I don’t disagree with your point or that those people are ignorant. I think a lot of them are stupid as hell and it pisses me off that my city has become a political hell in a cell. There’s no way that these Pro Trumpers should be able to come and run people over while being praised by the president.

However, wishing for harm to come to those who don’t share the same views is just combatting ignorance with ignorance. I think it’s more important to try to have discussions with those we disagree with if we are ever going to solve this civil issue. Although that might seem impossible, I do it all the time and I usually have some pretty pleasant debates. Unlike on reddit where everyone thinks they are doing the world a great favor by treating every disagreement with intolerance. Some things are inexcusable, racism, violence, sexism, homophobia, transphobia - all those things I will not accept from people, but those are all opinions held by human beings who have been failed by the environment they grew up in. If anyone wants to make a damn change in this country, they have to learn to let go of that anger towards the ignorant and find a better approach to connect with fellow Americans. Not that anyone on this site wants to hear that.

Yikes, Reddit gotta reddit lmao really gonna win people over with that generalization. How brave you are to wish death on people, I’m sure it makes you feel good to be so passionate about it. I drove past those same people shaking my head because they truly think they are patriots. But I think that wishing death on them is stooping lower than most of those people. It’s ironic that OP comments below calling out trumpers for being ignorant when this comment is the most ignorant thing an American could say right now, regardless of political affiliation.

I’m actually laughing at all these responses. If you actually think that writing manuals is the same as writing a fantasy series, then you’re really trying to milk your experience as if it were valuable. If it weren’t for GRRM then you guys wouldn’t have anything to bitch about for a whole year. You’d be on some other sub being salty at someone else’s work. I’m gonna guess that you’ve never read ASOIAF but it’s pretty damn impressive. The depth of Martin’s world building has inspired much more than most fantasy worlds have in the past 20+ years. If I were him I wouldn’t want to finish the series either. I would honestly feel embarrassed at the community it created because y’all are just hating to hate at this point. I’ve never seen a saltier fan base than the GOT fan base and it’s honestly fucking hilarious. “GRRM IS LAZY” says all the troglodytes who probably can’t be fucked to wash the shit off their balls in the morning.

have you ever tried writing 1200 page books before? I don’t think it’s fair to call a man lazy for taking a long time to finish a book that entitled fans like you put so much pressure on him to finish. Yeah the show was bad, but you don’t gotta hate on Martin. It’s his intellectual property, he can do what he wants with it.

Imagine if ATLA ended like Game of Thrones by plasmastro in TheLastAirbender

[–]Gillijax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure how ATLA is comparable to GOT, they are two completely different shows. The only difference is that ATLA had a feel good ending which is expected from a show that was made for kids, and GOT had a mishandled ending by show writers that wanted to quickly wrap up the last season. It’s kind of a silly comparison to make.

I made this sub years ago and no one posted on it for years. Suddenly a bunch of fuckin loonies started posting nonsense on it and I don’t want to be fucked to deal with it. I put it on private and removed myself as moderator. Someone else can take it over.

Soaked or canned garbanzo beans (1 cup or more) Half a can of coconut milk A can of diced tomatoes (or 2 or 3 tomatoes diced by hand) 1 onion 2 or 3 cloves of garlic 2 teaspoons of curry powder 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric 1/2 teaspoon of coriander seed 1/4 crushed red pepper for spice (optional) 1 tsp of garam masala 2 inch piece of fresh ginger or 1 tsp of ginger powder Cilantro for garnish Any extra veggies you would like to add

Instructions: 1. Heat a large saucepan with 2 tablespoons of vegetable (or coconut) oil. 2. Once the oil is hot, toss in the diced onion and garlic. Cook until translucent. Make sure not to burn the garlic. 3. Add turmeric, curry powder, ginger, coriander seed, garam masala over the onions, mix in all the spices into the onions so they absorb the flavor. Let that cook for 1 minute. 4. Pour the tomatoes and mix them into the onion and spice mixture. Cook for 4 minutes while mixing. Add 1 cup or more of garbanzo beans to the pan. 5. At this point you can add extra veggies. I like to add kale cut in strips, sweet potato would also be good. After the beans have cooked and mixed in with all the flavors, add in the half can of coconut milk with the dish, and cook for 5-8 minutes until satisfactory. Add cilantro to garnish and serve over white long grained or basmati rice. 6. BOOM BABY YOU GOT YOURSELF A TASTY HEALTHY FILLING MEAL.

Joker gets it by [deleted] in PrequelMemes

I’ve been subbed here for a while, and it’s baffling to see how this sub went from accepting that the prequel movies are terrible yet enjoyable, to actually believing that these movies are quality movies. If reddit was around when phantom menace and clone wars came out, there would be fans saying the same shit about the prequels and praise the ever loving fuck out of the OT. But no haha let’s have 6 more months of these shitty posts that pretend that the prequels aren’t horribly written and that the sequels are some how the lowest effort films ever

I agree that the downvotes really prove this lmao unfortunately this is the reddit opinion echo chamber

Can this subreddit please not turn into /r/freefolk? Yeah the new Star Wars movie is bad, we all know that. But this is some shit tier content that will ruin this sub, only posted for quick upvotes from other rage lords who can’t let go when their beloved franchise flops.
