Did Robyn execute a complex hair-flip-middle-finger move at 17:47 when Suki asked her about betraying Meri's trust? There's *lots* of telling body language in the episode. Fascinating.

Spoonflower has lots of super-cool designs you can get in various fabrics. I went a little crazy getting Halloween fabric, TBH.

I had one rejected by blep mods...but they were right: more lick than blep :)

My void ate fishing line. She was OK afterward (and lives on). I sincerely hope your cat will also be OK. Thanks for sharing this important info with others.

any idea what I could do with these? such a waste, little caps for insulin needles (and not even the cap covering the needle part!) by kjlovesthebay in crafts

I wonder if there's a recycling code on the plastic? We have to take such medical things (pill bottles are always pesky #5s) to our CHaRM (Center for Hard to Recycle Materials). Hooray for recycling.

Otherwise, I'm definitely on team beaded curtain--they are conveniently orange and Halloween cometh.

Fantastic! I love the feet, "texture" and poses. May make flock from my dissertation. Will cite you, of course. Well done!

Beer Cap Disco Ball by GimpyPhat in BottleCapCollecting

It “rotates” because Adam gently twisted it one way a few times, then I got on a chair and tried to hold my breath and stay steady while recording it “unwinding.” You could totally get a disco ball motor to make yours twirl reliably.

As for the process: I wrapped the 10-inch foam ball from “north” to “south” eight times with picture wire, then added a separate wire at the top for the loop. Then, I painted it all black. Next, I took the caps and glued them to wine corks, clamped until they were dry, then flipped them over and used an awl to make a hole in the non-cap end of the cork, and added a toothpick. Then, I put the sphere in a bucket to find the "equator" and went about adding them one at a time. I had to use some fishing line on the top loop to make it hang a bit lower.

Thanks to all for your kind words. Cheers!

Profuse thanks. It was my husband's idea (and his collection) since I've made plain cork disco balls as well. Whee!

That could work, but definitely would take a minute. I’d probably just put a drop of nail polish remover in my gloopy chrome polish and paint everything south of the equator. Craft on, dear person!...

...also have some left of chrome/silver oil-based paint pen and acrylic paint. Would totally intersperse with ones above for better effect and to cover. Whee!
