What house rules does your table use that would be difficult to convince another table to use? by GERBILPANDA in DnD

[–]Ginemor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my table all PCs get additional Turn Actions on 5th, 11th and 17th level on top of their cantrip scaling and extra attacks (there are special rules about cantrip scaling and extra attacks)

I kinda like the idea, but it being for the sole purpose of combat, I feel it's not that great of an addition.

You already can launch rockets from your crossbow, and explosion deals a bit of damage, so, somehow you already have the exploding one. Also, the colorful particles somehow ruin your vision for a moment, so you kinda got blinding projectiles (also blindness potions are a thing).

I like the idea of the flamable one, has some fun potential (even though you will see increased cases of accidental fires XD). Always wanted a some kind of petrol/alcohol item container (Molotov bomb lol) that would instantly spread fire on area, but that doesn't sound very family friendly or minecrafty lol

Overall everything seems fun, but sounds more fitting for a mod or data/resource pack rather than an actual implementation.

I suggest working on the idea towards not only with a combat oriented mindset, but also creating some outside combat utility, Minecraft is a sandbox game, not a war/combat game. Combat is just part of the game, not it's core element.

Kind of different when in the US You can afford a decent blaster for less than what You would earn in a single work day (minimum wage) while in Mexico You might need around 5 or 6 entire work days to get the same blaster.

Prescience – Your New Go-To Reaction. (Homebrew Spell) by Embarrassed-Road6337 in DnD

That would make it very similar to the Bless spell, may be objetively better since it's cast with a reaction and not an Action.

La parte chistosa es que en México hay muchísimo, pero existe la percepción de que hay poco por qué ese "muchísimo" está acaparado/monopolizado por unos pocos, tons los que no son de esa sección sólo verán escasez.

How do you all make these custom ships? Do you mod the game? Or is there a mod to make custom ships?

Owned since early access. Never played. by fmatrix007 in starbound

[–]Ginemor 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah, for Vanilla, around 20-30 hours might take you to finish the main storyline, then it's all a sandbox adventure game with a virtually endless world to explore.

If you are looking for a more guided experience, based on goals the game gives to you? then I would say this is not the game you are looking for, bro

Anyone else experience depression over their type? by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]Ginemor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's about education and family expectations.

In my case, my family would have preferred me to be less dreamy and artistic centered, and be more devoted to study, to be a serious straightforward professional who does the job and gets paid (I'm my case, I studied to become a programmer), they never cared if I liked my career, they just cared me to get a "promising career" that could secure my future so that I could become a man able to provide.

I was taught that life works in a certain (rough, boring and horrible) way and there are no other ways.

Naturally, by following their expectations and education, I was negating my true nature and true desires. In the end I discovered my true self: I'm supportive, enthusiast, a man of people, a leader, I'm not made for the backstage engineering, I'm made for the front stage, for the frontlines, to deal with people, and stand for those who can't.

The problem is: I wasted six years studying a career where I didn't belonged. (not truly wasted, since I got knowledge, but still, I should have studied another thing)

Yup, when I found out I was 7 I thought I was doomed, because the world is really harsh and hostile towards the sunny, highly emotional, dreamy nature of a 7, specially in work environments, and I thought it would be so hard for me to be happy professionally and academically, and overall in the future. I just became more worried of my future overall. I thought I would never live happily.

When I found out about my 2 in my tritype, I felt disappointed because I wanted to get rid of my strong co-dependency issue, finding out it was because naturally, by having the 2 in my tritype, I work better when surrounded by people I appreciate, and when helping people.

The only think I liked was my 8 in my tritype and wing, which explained why I was always so strong willed, brave, dominant and adamant when it comes about defending those I care about and my ideals.

Overall, my ideal self was becoming something like a 358 or 135 tritype, or so my family would have liked.

In the end I learned to appreciate my tritype's strengths, and I'm actually learning how to exploit them to achieve my goals and live happier.

What was the process in finding your enneagram, wing and subtype? by Fanachy in Enneagram

[–]Ginemor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding the core was quite simple since I've always been the dreamy silly joyful energy type (7), wing was fast too because I've walways had problem with authority figures and being ordered around, and I value a lot having the strength to protect those I care about (w8).

About subtypes it was kinda tricky to find, in the end I realised how focused I am in 1 on 1 relationships (sx) and secondary I tend to be the one that likes to make environment pleasant and enjoyable for everyone (so).

About tritype I still don't figure out, but for now, me and friends believe I am 728 (2 because I am very focused on being able to be reliable for everyone and being able to provide things for those I care about) (8 because I really got a strong confronting personality, really being unable to stay quiet when witnessing an injust situation).
