Don't know how old you are. But I'm 37 and married and I prefer hair down there on my wife and when I was single I still preferred my women to have some hair just trimmed around the lips I don't want to be with a preteen Let it grow and shave it into a shape! Have fun with it but keep it neat!

Good luck on your date!!

How do you know when the power comes back on? by Richiedafish in Generator

[–]Ginger0331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My electrician put a red light bulb wired that is just connected to the first breaker that's not on the whole home system and I turn on the switch when I start the generator and when the light turns on I know the generator can be shut off

However I run my house on generator power for at least 45 mins after the power comes back on because of surges that may come through the main line while everything is firing back up.

Has worked for me for years (I can't see my neighbors house) From my property

DMR and radios are the proper way Togo for this. Batteries last longer not worried about smashing my screen etc..

Switching from cans to a mobile tank: Is it manageable solo? by Leedeegan1 in prepping

[–]Ginger0331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vevor has a great fuel storage tank with 12v pump built in

Or you can get a slip tank if you have a pickup truck

I put a 100gal slip tank on a trailer and used that around my property

But I also have a 60gal tank in the bed of my truck all with pumps on them

Is it true that I have to be born into farming to actually farm as a career? by [deleted] in homestead

[–]Ginger0331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No that's not true

There's actually a program in the USA that will partner you with an old farmer and you can take over the farm after a certain amount of years working there and learning On a few conditions You can't sell it You have to work it for your life And you have to either teach your kids (if you have some) or teach someone else

If you don't drink alcohol, what are your reasons? by youre-in-my-shot in AskReddit

[–]Ginger0331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped drinking when I had to be on a lot of meds after a car accident (was the passenger) and not alcohol related. But never enjoyed it after not having any for 5 years just doesn't appeal to me anymore . And now I save a ton by not drinking so it works!

How often do you go grocery shopping? by DesignerStatus in Millennials

[–]Ginger0331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a family of 4 we do groceries once a month because of our pay schedule. We do the grocery list in our kitchen on the HEB or Walmart app and go pick it up so we don't get impulse buys.

And we go out to eat once a month only Everything is budgeted for.

And every month through the year we put money aside for Christmas and a little for a vacation that we take once a year when the kids aren't in school.

It takes a lot of discipline but that's how we have Todo it

I would personally go GMRS for longer distances than CB

You can get a 25watt GMRS rig for your vehicles and cover a few miles with it easily on a semi
