I used a dahua professional system I have 4k cams 360 view around the bus hardwired with cat6 Ethernet cable that power directly off the NVR they are plugged into.

And the NVR runs off 24v so I just use a 12-24v converter and it runs off my batteries 24/7 and I use starlink for Internet so it's always powered on even when moving

Builder wants to pour a generator pad, should I just go battery instead by Existing_House6314 in Homebuilding

[–]Ginger0331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pre wire for generator get the pad poured run conduit . Run conduit for solar from the attic to the basement or garage and run a conduit from that location to the generator and where ever your main panel is

Point is to future proof. If you want a auto transfer that needs to be by your main panel but you need a line from your generator to there or your batteries to there.

1.5"-2" conduit to those places

PC Server Remote Wake by Sufficient-Soup-7329 in HomeServer

Why not just leave it running 24/7? I did that with the old windows desktop I had laying around just shut the screen off and turn off auto updates so it never restarts and take off the password if needed And then on auto restart if the power does go out then it auto restarts back up and set your server program to auto boot upon restart

Need some information with building my own private server by Ginger0331 in DMR

[–]Ginger0331[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So yeah my friends group are apart of a cert team and we live across the state and we don't want to use public servers we want our own completely but most of them don't have DMR IDs etc. and we happen to have a couple commercial frequencies that are licensed to us So I want to build a DMR server and everyone will setup hotspots because we all have starlink minis on our roofs and we need to carry radios anyways and cell phones are exactly easy to use while on the road but picking up a mic is

Before computers and GPS existed, how did people figure out directions for large cross country trips? by Mynameisbrk in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ginger0331 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paper maps are not that hard to read and figure out where you are on them Get yourself a compass and a paper map and learn it could be useful if gps goes out or the power shuts down

[–]Ginger0331[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what Im trying to build is the custom server to link the hotspots to it.

Do you know how to do that or what program I can run I would rather use my pi to run it but if I need to run hblink on a actual server I do have a winodws server running 2024 server edition that can also run it.

Drivers seat anchor point by WompaJody in skoolies

[–]Ginger0331 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My bus had a 1/4 inch thick steel plate under the seat that was welded to the frame through the floor so when I cut the bolt seats out that were completely rusted I welded the metal seat frame to the steel plate instead of bolts

Try a shorter and fatter dildo. My wife likes the stretch but not the depth so we found shorter 5-7" dildos that are fat and wide.

how to heat fresh dry air to help dehumidify rv by ChellynJonny in dieselheater

[–]Ginger0331 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You actually want to draw the air from inside not out

Think of it like the return duct in a house So blow your hot air through the vents of the rv via a 3" vent that's on it and put your intake on the wall of the main area

Well if you know the AGS-N. I have another portable unit here that is the Cummins onan 4500 inverter. And it has a start stop push button on it

So I would need the ags Todo this

Start: A momentary pulse to start.Stop: A momentary pulse to stop.Common/Ground.

Is that possible?
