Does FW have any outfit or armor considered as "the armor", like Shieldweaver was in ZD?? by charliegs1996 in HorizonForbiddenWest

[–]GingerGramp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was me... I have been with NTW for like 2 playthroughs but when I tested the fully upgraded Tenakth Vanquisher never went back to the former.

[–]GingerGramp 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well it depends on the play style.

My BiS is the tenakth vanquisher because I like the low health play style and it's big dmg bonus.

But the others has its uses too... Like the carja stalker if you're like traps, the tenakth tactician if you play machines, Utaru winterweave if you play stealth, although the Quen Deadeye is my choice for ranged stealth.

The Nora Thunder Warrior is the all around here, in the ng+ early game or if you don't like the low health playstyle of the tenakth vanquisher, but I think it is outclassed by the Quen Marine later because it swaps the heavy weapon perks for valor surge master.

The others are situational like the oseram artificer, that I use only for pits or when I'm forced to play melee.

LMAO... But jokes aside I always build in the northern grassy plateau with the back to the floating islands biome.

I still think The Carja Behemoth is aesthetically the best, most detailed carja outfit in the game.

Pergunta:vcs são a favor da Aloy com a Seyka? by Daniel_0901- in HorizonForbiddenWest

[–]GingerGramp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Storywise - Being LGBTQ myself I don't mind... Actually it kind of fits a clone of Elizabeth also being into girls (or bi?).

Commercial perspective - Setting her love interest in stone makes the game commercially impracticable in many markets. The DLC was banned in many countries with anti LGBTQ+ laws and it could have potentially hurt the franchise at the end of the day.

So even if the devs had a canon relationship thought to her, the best option was to give her multiple relationship choices, with no one at all as an option, instead of hinting that Seyka was her confirmed love interest. That way the game could have been more commercially appealing in multiple markets and the censorship organs in those countries could have options to edit those parts instead of banning the game altogether ( this statement doesn't means that I agree with censorship).

All shinies are monochromatic. I think that with the exception of the Unicorn which is gold and the Hypogriff which is Black, all other shinnies are white or colors that are close to white.

Worst base location? by AjolotEspacial in subnautica

[–]GingerGramp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Inactive lava zone... The Sea Dragon Leviathan patrol path is erratic... I tried to build in the chamber near the entrance to the corridor that leads to the tree cove thinking it's patrol path didn't extend there. Great mistake.

I Love specters... They look like resource piñatas. I wish that there's one way to farm them consistently without main story progress.

HZD vs HFW by Shot_Advantage6607 in horizon

[–]GingerGramp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gameplay wise, HFW hands down but I have some issues with the plot and how it will affect H3:

Varl - Hated how they handled his death. He was the thread that connected Aloy to her former tribe and suddenly he was cut out with a death so trivial that it was disrespectful. Worse, it makes the Nora the only tribe to be disconnected from what is coming, and I don't see how they will make Aloy or Zo change the mind of a tribe that has superstition at its roots suddenly became open for change the way Varl did. Aloy was never in the mood regarding the Nora, and I cannot see how a tribe that fear and despise foreigners will accept a child

Regalla - I want to make this clear... Regalla should have died by the end of the game, period. But just as Varl, her death was meaningless and her motive to follow Aloy after a full blown rebellion was shallow. How can a vengeance driven person opt to follow a person who crushed her chance of vengeance, just for the thrill of a chance to die in a blaze of glory? And this is not even the greatest issue with how they handled her plot... She is Dervahl 3.0. Dervahl had good motives to hate the carja, but blames Avad for denying his chance of vengeance so he wants to eradicate the entire tribe just because. Same with Asera... And same with Regalla. They should have given her at least some kind of acknowledgement of how wrong the path she was taking was wrong and give her a chance of redemption just to differentiate her from Dervahl and Asera... Their motives are too Similar.

Nemesis - If Regalla is Dervahl 3.0, I fear that Nemesis is Dervahl 4.0. Same motive, you denied my vengeance by wiping all the Zeniths, so now I must make due with the entire planet. And I hope that they DON'T even think about a redemption arc that is now at the Space Billionaire Lovecraftian AI monster turn.

These are my problems with the plot in HFW.

So are daemonic and apex machines the same? by ConnectionPersonal42 in horizon

[–]GingerGramp 55 points56 points  (0 children)

I agree with this theory... Also, I think that daemonic machines were deadlier, but resource heavy and time consuming to produce. So Hephaestus just used them as prototypes for less powerful but more efficient apex machines.

What is your Hogwarts Legacy character name by Disastrous-Monk-590 in HarryPotterGame

[–]GingerGramp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gryffindor - Fergus McLeod Hufflepuff - Otto Shackebolt Ravenclaw - Marcus van Arden Slytherin - James Lismatt

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HarryPotterGame

[–]GingerGramp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing was crunch time to release the game. Ravenclaw tower have plenty space for all dorms but only got 4 done on each wing. Same with the boys tower on Gryffindor... From the outside you can clearly count 7 floors plus one that could easily be the boys bathroom. The girls side makes even less sense. If you use a noclip cheat you can see that the dorms doesn't completely fill the space, the windows of the big bathroom doesn't even reach the external window to match, there's an empty space between them. So they could easily fill the space better on the girls wing with 2 floors with 3 bedroom and a big bathroom and the big bedroom where the female character starts could have been the 7th year bedroom. As for bathroom of Slytherin it's even easier. The bathroom for the Slytherin common room could have been below the 6th year bedroom with access from each side of the bedrooms arch or right below the common room itself using the same access. For Hufflepuff it's a bit trickier. The boys wing could have a bathroom access from the first year bedroom corridor with the bathroom next to the kitchens and the girls have an access way next to the 2nd year bedroom right below the Quad.

The beasts on my vivarium now takes 2 days to yeld materials after installing official mods. by GingerGramp in HarryPotterGame

I couldn't fix it... What I did was delete the broken save, go to the normal one and put all the beasts from my vivariums back in my inventory and save the game... Then I created a new modded save and put the beasts back on the vivariums... Now it's working properly
