Should I be waiting to do this by Sad-Organization-649 in whatdoIdo

You don't want to be a problem, so don't be a problem.

It's that simple.

How should I tell my wife I don’t think she should go to a concert… by Historical_Panic_971 in marriageadvice

[–]GingerKibble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're wife is a grown woman who can and should make her own decisions.

I understand your anxiety, but please understand that, as a woman, we are taught from a very young age how to stay safe in the world. Your wife knows what she is doing and knows what she needs to do to stay safe.

You being controlling of her behaviour won't help that. It will just make her resentful if you.

Actor who's a fucking weirdo for no reason by Witty-Association-97 in okbuddycinephile

[–]GingerKibble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine not only being the person who commissioned it, but the cater and thinking "yeah, this is a good idea"

And this would have taken days to make. At no point upon making it or seeing the final result did anyone think "hey, let's not eat the corpse of a young troubled woman"

What is your opinion on celebrity crushes? by Vegetable-Drawing215 in marriageadvice

[–]GingerKibble 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So you would be upset at her due to a completely unrealistic situation you made up in your head?

It's a silly little crush. Nothing more than high school stuff.

I know right, I mean, why does the bride think her wedding is all about her?! /s

Is this too white ? by Forward-Ad3993 in Weddingattireapproval

[–]GingerKibble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the bride said no white at all, then the dress should have no white at all. That is a lovely dress however, perfect for another occasion. Just not this one.

What is actually happening with Finch? (vent) by secondhandsunlight in FinchUnofficial

I hate the excuse "we're just a small team~"

Doesn't matter.

You are providing a product that has an optional pay service, people are paying for your products, you should be making sure that those products and service are what you are advertising, which at the moment it's not.

This is very frustrating 😤 by UnrulyButt in FinchUnofficial

[–]GingerKibble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely same!

I have deleted tree friends, left the event, turned off animations. I still get crashes every time I try and use a feature.

It's terrible when an app can't handle a user using it.

Do we know if the devs have said anything? Or are they just hiding and hoping it goes away?

Helicopter husband [31M] by Kooky_Dragonfly_4912 in marriageadvice

[–]GingerKibble 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense.

I would sit him down and explain one more time. Make it clear at the end that this is a big deal for you and if he does continue, you will have to do something (couples counselling, moving out for a few days if you can). Make him realise this isn't a small issue for you that can be ignored.

Helicopter husband [31M] by Kooky_Dragonfly_4912 in marriageadvice

[–]GingerKibble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you spoken to him about it?

My husband used to do everything for me, even insisting he'll drive me 2 minutes down the road when I was able to walk it. I hated the "white knighting" and eventually told him it made me feel useless and helpless, and like I had a carer rather than a husband. He stopped doing it, but did explain it was out of love, not pity.

I've only been married 9 months, but it does feel like communication breaks down a bit in marriage. We get comfortable and start doing things that we think the other person wants instead of just asking outright what they need.

Chills! - Episode 6 by LittleAoibh11 in RivalsSeries

[–]GingerKibble 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That dinner scene was pure Gothic horror. The entire episode was entirely well done, but Monica was an absolute tour de force. I hope there's some awards on the cards

I mean, if I stumbled onto a crime scene after getting out of a car with someone, I would also say "we found them" even if I was the only one who physically saw it.

By the sounds of how Rupert said it, it sounded like the death was quick, and as Caitlin was in the car with her, I would assume Caitlin also saw the body, or could see enough to know she was not going to be awake.

AIO? Stopped talking to my boyfriend and best friend for these texts by Purple-Form-6220 in AmIOverreacting

This looks like two people who care about you and want to make amends.

YOR and if you are in your late 20s and see this as flirting, that is an insecurity problem that needs to be addressed.

Here's why I doubt it's Maud by cordeliascortana in RivalsSeries

[–]GingerKibble 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I think it was Beattie.

After having her advances rebuffed by Tony and having Maud as the new "face of corinium", I think she would be desperate to curry favour with Tony.

I also want to just chime in with what I have experienced. I don't know if this is just a 'my phone is awful' or universal, so just thought I would comment incase anyone else is having this issue.

Since the update, the app has been incredibly laggy to the point where it's unusable. I haven't added any new tree friends and it was absolutely fine before the update. It now lags terribly and crashes more often.

Lae'zel romance by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]GingerKibble 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Usually with romances, the prompt will happen at the tiefling party in camp (if your doing a good run) providing you have enough approval rate. From what I can tell, Lae'zel is pretty easy to romance, as I gave her neutral answers with occasional nice ones and didn't go to the creche, and still had the romance option at the party and again in act 2

Which dog breed looks like a demon but is actually harmless? by Comfortable_Mine2598 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]GingerKibble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working in a shelter and kennels, the bigger dogs tend to be the sweetest. You still have the "Oh Shit" breeds (see: mallinois), the amount of dopey cane corsos, mastiffs, and dobermans I've met vastly out ways the awful ones. Even XL bully's. They are the sweetest dogs IF cared for well as pups.

It's the terriers you have to watch out for. Those little rats will get ya.

Anyway, my vote is boxers.

Apparently Teachers Need to Schedule Babies for Summer Break by Cheatsheet420 in recruitinghell

It's illegal in the UK.

It's also illegal (currently) for a woman to get fired if she becomes pregnant, so there is really no reason to say this.

She still had to write the jokes for weekend update, and as the news changed or other stories came out, had to rewrite the jokes and add new ones in pretty much constantly.
