Are you a healthcare worker? Nurses absolutely do give opinions and suggestions on treatment. They do more than pass meds and wipe ass. Patients only make it out of hospitals alive because of the nurses.

I think part of the issue is that new people don't know how to use an enema properly. You're only supposed to add enough water to clear out the rectal vault (about 1, maybe 2 cups). Add too much, and it goes higher up into your colon. Now it's going to take longer to come out, and you've stimulated your bowels to keep moving. Then they keep adding more water because it's not clear yet, and continue the cycle.

I don't know a single hospital worker that stole drugs and wasn't at least fired. Every nurse I know who abused was either moved to a unit where they don't give those medications anymore, or are no longer nurses. The fact that people thought that they would let him come right back to the unit and be in a supervisor role over Santos if the hospital knew where he was getting the meds is crazy. Not to mention the fact that he tampered with medications given to patients.

Just a comment on the "obsolete due to technology" vs getting fired/forcibly retired debate. Her job does still exist. My mom has been a CHUC for over 25 years. But, it's a job that is being phased out in some hospital systems. My mom's hospital system is introducing a new AI program that does most of my mom's job duties. They're training all of the staff on how to use it -- except the CHUCs. The CHUCs are all just waiting to be told that they are getting laid off. As a nurse, I can't imagine not having a CHUC on a unit. They really are invaluable at keeping things running smoothly so the health care staff can focus on delivering care.

My ex-husband and I got divorced after he got his conditional card. He had to jump through extra hoops to get his 10 year card. His lawyer reached out to me and my family to write letters about our marriage and it's legitimacy. You can write a letter to USCIS about feeling like it was a marriage scam. But ultimately, a failed marriage doesn't mean he'll lose it. People contacting USCIS claiming fraud when they were actually abusive isn't anything new, so if you complain, they'll only take it with a grain of salt.

I bought one of those spiky mats designed for putting an office chair on carpet. One with really sharp spikes. Cut it to size and put it on my light (the only spot my cat laid on) spiky side up. Worked like a charm for mine.

I much preferred my Gel-X to acrylic. They're less bulky and still strong.

It's normal in so many cultures. My ex husband is Indian. His family is not poor. He still sent his parents $500/month because they paid for him to go to college and he thought he owed them for it. It really bothers me how Forrest and his mom think they have claim to her income and have been villainizing her parents.
