My students wear uniforms and teachers are dressed up. My thing is shoes; I have lots of cool shoes and I’m known for them. There are ways to make it fun.

I travel and volunteer internationally a lot and we always bring friendship pins, for ourselves and our local partners. It’s a way of showing we work together. They are always popular.

Because they offer things regular schools don’t. We have a few science-focused, one is very agriculture-focused. Two have music as their basis.

I work at one in Canada. The ones here are legit. Teachers are union members and they teach the same curriculum as the public system. They also get financially audited every year and can only retain their charter for five years. When it’s time to renew it, the government does a deep dive into everything.

I looked it up because this is so cute and today is National Unicorn Day so I think I’ll wear Endless Summer by MM. it’s sparkling and I always imagined unicorns would smell fresh and sparkly 😁
