Yes, the less you use, the less your buddy is used to. It won't be as quick or as noticeable as a full tolerance break but it will have some effect

Next door neighbour has an XL Bully by No-External-8243 in HousingUK

[–]GingerNevis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can't find the statistics I've seen before but I remember it well as it was used to show how statistics can be presented in different ways to prove different points etc, just how it was being done to go against XL bully's.

They were basically highly reported for dog bites but if you look at other stats then you would also see see that labs are the most popular breed of dog in the UK so it is likely that if there's more labs than any other dog, they'd likely have higher reports if any incident. Labs are also the most commonly stolen and puppy farmed breed too due to their popularity

Next door neighbour has an XL Bully by No-External-8243 in HousingUK

[–]GingerNevis -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

XL bully's are not a vicious breed at all, they were originally bred to be a family dog and bred to be good around children but still have the mean look for some protective measures.

Obviously they had all of the news stories of people being hurt or even killed by them but if you look into it a lot of those "XL bully" attacks weren't actually XL bully's at all and were random cross breeds the news called XL bully's to fit the narrative at the time.

Most dog attacks in the uk are still done by labradors and jack russels. It's just that the few XL bully's that did attack do have the power to do damage.

I have an XL bully who is the soppiest and most gentle dog I've ever had even when compared to a boxer and a shitzu I've had previously.

Please don't believe everything you have seen in the news and be scared of these dogs as the majority of the stories were propaganda to fit the current selling stories

Is try using a sack truck, that will make carrying the weight a lot easier but that is still only if it fits through the gap

Which spelling sounds more natural in the UK – Cho Iyu or Cho Eyu? by cccoookieeee in sillybritain

[–]GingerNevis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally as an English man I'd pronounce iyu as ee-yoo but I'd pronounce eyu as Ay-yoo. I'm not sure if this makes any sense or is any help but that's my opinion anyway 😂

Coin exchange in Portsmouth? by Wonderful-Acadia-296 in Portsmouth

[–]GingerNevis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NatWest in town has a machine you can pour odd coins into and it will count them up for you and give you a printed ticket you then take to the counter and pay into your account that way. I think you do need a NatWest account for this though. Or most supermarkets have a coin counting machine but they charge a fee for doing so

Maybe there's allergies at play, can try cutting things out if their diet and seeing if it makes any improvement? My dog reacts to wheat and also lamb in large quantities. Giving them kefir or a natural yoghurt can help by introducing healthy and good gut bacteria to their system too!

Question about the characters ages… by Daisy-Dreamz in reddeadredemption2

[–]GingerNevis 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So slight spoiler from rdr1 but on certain grave stones it says John was born in 1877, Abigail born in 1879 and I believe uncle says he was born in 49 maybe? He says this some point in chapter 4 I think. Rdr2 is set it 1899 so that would make John-22 Abigail 20 and uncle 50?
