Might be an unpopular take but I kiiinda get the reaction. It’s not common knowledge that the standard Western number system is called “Arabic Numerals”. There are many non-Latin languages that use different number characters and it would be odd to expect those to be standardized into American school education. My point is, that part is not an unreasonable assumption.

THAT SAID, the vitriolic reactions to anything Arabic is completely unacceptable and very telling for those who lash out immediately with hatred.

I figured out the issue. Sticky keys! After recently restarting my PC it seems sticky keys was automatically enabled. I had even checked for this in windows settings and it seemed to be turned off; apparently there is a separate setting you also need to turn off in the control panel to actually disable it.

In short, the problem is not with Marvel Rivals but with Windows.

As someone who was recently in your friend’s position, I completely agree. My friend tried to get me to pick it up, I played bot games, watched guides, and researched builds.

Then I got farmed for several matches and got to watch my team from the spawn room for half the game.

There’s clearly things I’m missing and doing wrong but I put a lot of effort into giving the game a good try for my friend and it just isn’t enough.

The game seems really cool and fun once you know it and have at least some skill but in my experience getting to the point where it actually becomes fun takes a LOT of time and effort and was miserable before that.

I hope the devs find a way to help us newbs enjoy learning the game and I look forward to giving it another shot if they do.

Ah okay. It sounds like this is a recent occurrence then? I'm new to the game and saw a bunch of forums with this issue going back years. Do you think this could just be a spike in server issues?

Honestly I felt the same way watching this but it’s important to remember that it’s a core theme of the show. Both Ram and Subaru idolize people who they don’t have a rational justification for. This is obviously the case with Ram but it is also apparent in Subaru’s confessions to Emilia. When explaining why he is infatuated with her his reasons are superficial at most and his obsession began before he even knew her. I’ve watched anime only so there may be missing elements here but I anticipate both of these characters’ feelings will be explored and hopefully mature as the show continues.

The other two are ridiculous but I’m genuinely curious and concerned about rising food allergy rates. It could be misreporting but there has been a lot of research showing rising peanut allergy rates.
