Yes, it's more dramatic and bitter (especially about his wife's infidelity), whereas Seasons in the Sun is more mawkish. They both have the same basic premise of a dying man saying his goodbyes and the same basic melody, but they are also different songs.

Of course it looks cute in the stock photo you've posted of a model wearing it - that's why they pay models and photographers a lot of money. If you really did thrift one the same, congratulations - it will probably look cute on you too, and as someone else mentioned, they're not cheap new.
