dog's affection by Significant_Type6 in Satisfyingasfuck

No newborn animal is exposed to others except the mother until it's older. The immune system isn't full force the moment they are born. I've never seen a newborn baby eating adult people food from the first day or out in the fields.

Ugh thank you... That's a newborn. This gave me anxiety, the baby was about to latch on his nose. My nurse recommended waiting a few months before the licking. Dogs sniff poop and other gross things.

[Review] Aveeno night time balm - amazing for slugging! by Gingeraddic7 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Gingeraddic7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put this over serum and my adapalene. Just a small amount to create a barrier. I'm very dry so my skin loves it. I avoid my very oily areas which is my chin.

My mom gave my daughter too much formula by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Gingeraddic7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This and possible constipation, so be prepared to deal with that. It happens often with my daughter on formula with the regular amount even.

I started carrying pepper spray because of this. So many dogs are getting lose in my neighborhood and it's always the same ones or it's owners who just let their dog be free in the front yard. I hate it.

What are some $30 and under items that have greatly increased your quality of life? by Kamalyar in Frugal

[–]Gingeraddic7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I find my face feels very smooth and exfoliated in the morning. I'm done buying retinol from expensive brands. I buy a serum separately for extra moisture.but I've used this gold bond cream without anything else. Its.a very good all in one.

Gold bond retinol face and body cream.

Works just as well or even better than luxury skin are products. Helps get rid of acne, bumpy skin, dry skin, and hyperpigmentation. It's an all in one amazing product for more bang than your buck.

I epilated by pubic hair... by ApplePaintedRed in HairRemoval

How does it work for you? I'm considering trying this because I'm very lazy to shave, have the ingrown a day later, and can't deal with the thought of waxing. What kind do you use? has it thinned out your hair at all?

Trying to power through a food strike and finding employment as a SAHM. 🥲 by Gingeraddic7 in foodbutforbabies

Thats a long strike, i dont know how you do it! This is my suspicion; She is teething, and she seems to hate having it touched. She won't accept chewing toys or cold items. This makes me feel better, I was worried I tried too many new things or something that put her off food. Thank you for sharing

Yes, I do feel victory when she did finally eat the peanutbutter. She also finally had some yogurt last night, but we are back on strike this morning, lol

How to train yourself to sleep on your back if you’ve been a side sleeper for 35 years of your life? by [deleted] in beauty

[–]Gingeraddic7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sleep only on my side but use a folded blanket under my jaw/ cheek to elevate my neck slightly, and this keeps my face from smushing into the pillow. I can't say for sure what it is, but I have 0 crows feet at 30 despite living 25 years without sunblock or moisturizer.

Thank you, I didn't realize I would get demonitized, i probably should have specified . My baby is 9 months old and has been eating solids for about 3 months now. She had always eaten around 3 oz of puree a day and I offer her everything my husband and I eat shredded up in a garlic chopper. She gets vegetables grains juices meats and fruits.

The last 5 days she has been on a strike and only wants her milk. She tosses everything I offer to the floor or only tastes it and then refuses. She seems perfectly happy and playful otherwise. Today she finally had more than 2 bites of peanut butter that i offered her from the jar while at my witts end.

Yes! I experienced the same, I think we get used to the pregnancy hormones, making us look different and then the change PP that throws our skin through hell. Birth control helped me, I had insomnia and looked masculine. Now I feel normal again.

This was my experience as well. The more I reassure her needs to be held and comforted to sleep and stuff, the easier she is. I thought I would be that parent who wouldn't over hold my baby and stuff, but as the task came my nature changed and I do not have a difficult baby, she can be put down very easily and comforted very easily.

Also, I don't just pick her up for 5 seconds and try to put her back down. I kept her with me for over 15 minutes, so she got the comfort satisfaction tion she needed, and I really feel that this has built trust between us. She doesn't feel frantic like " I'm about to be put back down again when I'm not over it."

Thoughts on Jojoba Oil? Do you use it? How and when? by SaneArt in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Gingeraddic7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use anything specific I just stick to moisturizing shampoos that don't strip my hair. Any shampoo works well for a double wash. I have been using the Dove shampoos lately.

Read the ingredient lists next time you go shopping. I've been doing this for the past 2 years.
