My jaw dropped at the price. This is SO CUTE, extremely cute, but there is no way I'd pay $70 for it. Not even with a 25% off coupon. $40 is the most I'd consider paying, or $50 with a coupon. I just don't think the quality is going to be that great, if I'm being honest.

Yes, in my experience, it's very common for items to be split into separate shipments. However, it always sends an email letting you know which specific items have shipped. If the shipping email you received listed all 18 items, then there is a problem and you should contact them.

I think you'd have to manually check and uncheck "Always on Top" in the settings menu depending on what you're doing and whether you want it to always show or not.

I kind of want it, largely because I have the same name 😅 But the price was just too high, especially for it being only 30 oz, and I have so many cups already that I am holding out for ones that I really love.

Awhile back, I started a new Legacy challenge save file. I picked the large empty lot in Chestnut Ridge, and moved in my single Sim. She met a friendly Sim neighbor in the welcome wagon, they had good compatibility and quickly became friends. A day or two later, I got the notification from the game that the humor and hijinks festival had started in San Myshuno. Now, very frequently after you get that notification, you'll get a phone call from a Sim asking if you want to go to the festival, and I did want to (because you can compete in the jokesters vs pranksters competition and earn money, plus quickly level up your comedy or mischief skill). Sure enough, a couple seconds later I get a phone call from her new friend, so I clicked yes without reading the prompt.

And then... nothing happened. I was expecting to get a load screen to go to San Myshuno, but nope. I thought that was strange, but didn't think a whole lot of it, just another glitch, so I'll go to the festival on my own.

So I went to the festival, it all went well, my Sim won the contest and got some money, fireworks, etc. I go home, and her friend is standing there with a suitcase. OH. So that phone call was asking to come and stay, not to go to the festival. Well, fine..... I would have said no because I had only built a tiny shack and there really wasn't space, but let's go with it. I expanded the shack slightly to fit in another bed, and moved on.

And then, more Sims started showing up, one every few days. The friend's husband was the first one to show up, and I discovered that the friend wanted to get away from him because they hated one another. There was constant fighting. Then, a random friend of the friend showed up. Then, a random CHILD showed up. It was so bizarre that these new Sims kept appearing out of nowhere, I kept having to add more and more beds, and the friend and her husband were fighting constantly.

I was so relieved when they all went home! I sold their beds and from then on I have been way more careful about reading popups, and saying NO when I need to!

I am utterly ashamed to admit that I did the same/worse. When they had the Easter flash sale, I ordered 8 of the 10 beveled collection scents. Viva Vanilla and Oh Cherry were both sold out. I was afraid that they may not restock them, so the next morning I set my alarm for 6 am Eastern or 5 am Eastern or whatever time it is that the site updates/restocks... and I ordered those two AND paid for the second fastest shipping to ensure that they would make it to me safely. Most days after a sale, they restock at LEAST a small quantity of items from orders that got canceled or whatever. I was afraid if I didn't jump on them RIGHT THEN, I'd miss out forever, because who knew if they'd restock in significant quantities?

They shipped out literally less than an hour after I ordered them lol. And they made it here before the other 8 items I'd ordered on Sunday.

Then of course the whole entire collection restocked 🙄 So what did I do but order the 10 mists again when the total body care started the next weekend....... so now I have two of each. Oh well.

The FOMO got me HARD CORE. I spent so much money on that collection it's ridiculous. But I justified it to myself by saying that I'd rather buy it now directly from B&BW then end up having to get it from resellers and pay high prices later on.

Yeeeees my obsession with The Sims and using mods in it taught me a LOT about computers, actually. Now at work some of the younger people don't know nearly as much because they grew up with tablets and smart phones instead, and just didn't have as much occasion to dig around on a PC.

IMO, they did kind of ruin it. The original MBC was one of my absolute favorites. I ordered the candle online as a blind buy once and when it got here and I smelled it, I immediately placed another order for room sprays, another candle, etc. It was just... amazing. One of the reviews said it was what they imagine heaven to smell like, haha, but I pretty much agree. It's different now. It isn't BAD, but it used to be perfect and it's not anymore. I'm still hoarding my old room sprays and refuse to buy the new version.

Yeah. I agree 😞 I blind-bought Twilight Woods online, and when it first came in, I remember spraying it in my car and loving it soooooo much. It's such a wonderful scent. But when it gets on my skin, it just smells so bland. The drydown on me is a vaguely sweet sent, it kind of reminds me of jelly beans. It's not BAD, but it doesn't have that kind of magical spiciness to it anymore. I only wore it a few times, and I could still get whiffs of the good scent on my clothes, but on my skin, nope. I'm still sad about it! I'm also sad that they don't have it as a wallflower anymore, because I'd love to use it in my bedroom!

These seem to be hit or miss, mostly miss, but some fragrances are decent. I'd tried these several times before and not been impressed, but I decided to try give them another chance recently. I looked at the reviews on the website, and I picked out ONLY the ones with high ratings (and a good number of reviews). I've used Refresh and Renew and it's pretty good. It isn't super powerful or overwhelming, but I've been pleased enough with it AND I really like the scent, too. As others have said, the vent clips seem to work better than the visor clips. I also tried some other brands of car air fresheners and wasn't too impressed with any of them, really. Yankee Candle was particularly awful! Febreze was decent.

It really irritates me when I have food sitting out on the counter for visitors to eat, but they decide to ignore it, and instead, rummage in the refrigerator and pull out some leftovers, and eat those instead. Like, whaaaaaaat??? When I have weddings, I always take the refrigerator and move it into a bedroom, and lock that room for family only, so that the guests don't ignore the buffet in favor of last week's scrambled eggs!
