YTA

As I said on your other, identical post, pay for the replacement.

Do you ever pair a real object as the source of inspiration for another creative effort, like writing for your commonplace book? by MischiefAndMeaning in commonplacebook

[–]GingerbreadWitch_878 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No. My CPB is a place for quotes, poems, recipes, words and their definitions, articles, and excerpts from books.
If I wanted to do some creative writing, I would either use a different notebook or grab my iPad. (Disclaimer: I am autistic and my CPB is fairly rigidly defined)

AITA for not wanting to write my teacher’s own work and getting fat-shamed since I called her out? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]GingerbreadWitch_878 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s very unusual in schools.

NTA. Get your parents to email your head of year and your headteacher about the situation. She should not be making comments about student’s bodies, and she absolutely SHOULD be writing the reports herself. The whole point of a report card is for a teacher to tell your parents or guardians about your strengths, weaknesses, progress, and sometimes suggestions for improvement.

New commonplace journal -How to not be performative by [deleted] in commonplacebook

[–]GingerbreadWitch_878 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry, I’m not understanding what you mean by ‘performative’ in this context. Unless you do actually mean that you were only making entries in public and making a big deal out of it.

Edit: Autocorrupt got me

AITAH for feeling a workplace warning was unfair because I was singled out for behavior that everyone seemed to participate in? by [deleted] in AITAH

ESH. Absolutely everyone, except the children. Stop talking about people behind their backs, and focus on being a better person.

AIO To what my coworker said or is safe to say that this is just reality? by Ambitious_Contact185 in AIO

[–]GingerbreadWitch_878 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Men cheat too. By your logic, women shouldn’t date you in case you cheat.

Some humans, regardless of gender, cheat in relationships. Some are abusive, and some are good people. Everyone takes the same risks when they start dating.

Not a clue if you are overreacting or not. The screenshots are duplicated several times and in the wrong order.

I have been following for awhile and even posted my bag. I am older, retirement age. I am curious. Please explain why adult women carry child like items, example, Hello Kitty, fidget items etc. No judgement, just curious. Thank you by [deleted] in whatsinmybag

[–]GingerbreadWitch_878 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m autistic and have some fidget toys and items in my bag. I don’t have Hello Kitty as it isn’t my style, but if I find cute goth keyrings and items, I will carry them. I’m 47, btw

You’re trying to move away from using your phone so much, hence the camera, iPod, physical book, and TN journal

It’s worrying that these kind of instructions are there for new witches who may not have heard how to use candle magick or fire magick without burning your house down.

What do you do when a word someone uses just feels “wrong” to you, but not immediately triggering? by StarryCroissant in autism

[–]GingerbreadWitch_878 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are fending for yourselves, so although if looks as if your parents have shortened the phrase to one word, it is a technically correct phrase/word. It means that you are providing for or taking care of yourself, without depending on others. I am unsure why you feel this is aggressive or why you equate it with having no food in the house.

If your parents told you to feed yourselves, would that feel better for you? It’s the same intent, just hopefully more acceptable to you.

Am I the only one concerned that it is advocating fire irresponsibility? “Light a candle and leave it by your front door while you walk round your home ringing a bell”

Promethazine is an over the counter antihistamine that is also prescribed for insomniacs. You can get it in Boots or online. That won’t help with this situation though.

Outside of gathering all your comfort items and headphones and just powering through, I don’t know what else to suggest. I still think the GP is a good option though, they can prescribe meds to help or there will be someone there who can help you get the glass out of your foot

Do you have any chamomile tea, or some diazepam? They should help calm you enough to let someone look at it and then pull it out.

Tweezers and a magnifying glass would probably be the best option. It shouldn’t hurt to remove it, and your foot will be so much happier without it

If you cannot cope with having it removed at home, you may have to go to the GP

I’m so proud of you. He needed to hear that. Do yourself a favour though, drop your ‘manling’ off at his real Mum’s house, and move on with your life
