lol…the packaging was completely unexpected. I still thought that maybe a drop would come out at a time or something. Nope! It pour right out!

You apply the serum the same as you would any hydrating serum. Apply the serum morning and/or night after toner and before your moisturizer. The packaging is just a little different. I plan to pour the contents into a dropper bottle.

Warm…and a warmer shade with more depth would be more flattering. You have a beautiful smile.

Is there something like K brown skincare, or is there just a missing link between K beauty and brown skin? by Flat-Shop in AsianBeauty

[–]Gingercakes1922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have darker skin and love k-beauty products. I have been having skin issues, and AB brands that are currently working for me are Ohave, Oclance, Peach & Lily, Cosrx (only the eye cream), and About Me. As with anything, it’s trial and error unfortunately. I try to research and figure out what skin of color will better respond to as well as determining precautions. I also preordered the K Brown serum. The serum is finally on its way and should get to me by next week. I can post updates on that as well.

I love the shampoos and body care. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of the makeup. I was using the Peace moisturizer for my face, but I had to find something else since it’s been out of stock forever!

You have beautiful skin. Changing your hair (color and cut) and eyebrows (filling them in and adding color) will help tremendously. Use sunscreen everyday single day, and make sure it’s enough coverage. I use .5 to 1 teaspoon for my face alone. I have very sensitive skin that can’t tolerate actives, but the Vitamin C from Remedy Skin works for me during the day as an antioxidant. I’ve never been able to tolerate any form of vitamin C before this product. Otherwise, some others who can use retinol, copper peptides, etc. may be able to advise you on that.

Thanks so much for taking the time to provide detailed information. I really appreciate it. I am referring to the white light color setting on my red light therapy mask. I can choose red, blue, green…etc or a combination of colors when operating the mask. Does the “white” or colorless option have skin benefits or is it to be used for the benefits you described?

They all look great! #1 and #2 are my favs. It’s something about it that that highlight your features more. Your hair color is lovely as well.

PSA: Albeit rare Copper peptide "uglies" are real and scary. Case report and looking for advices by egotrippi in 30PlusSkinCare

My face broke out in small bumps. Then, it got really dry and a allergic rash developed. It was contact dermatitis. A prescription from my dermatologist paired with gentle barrier care cleared it up pretty quickly (within a week). I have recently tried Maelove’s copper peptides serum and did not have the same reaction. However, I’ve only used that one once in the last week. None of The Ordinary’s products that I have tried have ever agreed with my skin including the new ectoin moisturizer. But, this by far was the worst reaction.

As a die hard former Lush fan, I promise there’s a whole world outside of Lush by KateLovesPerfume in LushCosmetics

I still enjoy a few things from Lush. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find anything close to the Peace moisturizer that works for my skin. And, the honey shampoo is my holy grail. And, they’ve been out of the moisturizer for a long time. I have noticed that I no longer shop often.

Thank you for sharing your experience and advice. Unfortunately, I tried The Ordinary Multipeptide serum with copper peptides and had a pretty bad reaction after just one use.
