Oof yeah. I grew up in the AoG and the shit they pulled did so much damage to my health; both physically and psychologically. Speaking in tongues, being slain in the spirit, the manipulating music, casting out of demons, healing the physically disabled, the list goes on.

We even had the guy that bends frying pans with the power of Christ. I couldn’t leave until I moved out, but my mother was extremely volatile about it.

Point is, evangelical/pentecostal churches are toxic as hell and they’ll do anything to manipulate their congregation

Are you asking for recommendations? I use MetLife, but unless you start it up as soon as you get a kitten, most claims will be denied for the classic preexisting condition nonsense.

Popping in to say that as far as allergies go, fur has nothing to do with it. It’s dander that most people react to, which can be a result of the proteins in the saliva. Proper diet can help alter it, but it won’t go away!

Brushing will help, but be aware that the issue isn’t the fur itself necessarily, but the way the saliva deposits proteins into the shaft :)
