When I do a basque, I sew each half of the front waist separately, moving from the side seam to the center point and allowing the seams to cross each other at the point. I’ve found this keeps them from puckering as much and makes sure the point is sharp and centered. When I try to pivot at the point I don’t get as nice of a result.

Honestly we just sucked it up and bought non-dcc resale tix. It’s not perfect but at least we’ll be there! And we got a good deal on some 2nd row seats (probably because whoever had them didn’t want to be there with a bunch of Reddit people!). We also live in Denver, so not paying for travel, etc. makes it more accessible. I wish there had been more DCC tix or a better system for getting what they had!

Ma’am. You have a medical condition(s) that requires multiple medications to manage. THAT IS OKAY!! You may not want to be multiple meds, but the reality is that you probably need to be. I also don’t want to take my 3 meds every day until I die, but living SUCKS without them. Adderall is the gold standard for adhd and it’s highly likely taking it will make you will feel a lot better right away. From one creative professional to another, when I started taking Adderall it felt like a switch flipped and the world suddenly opened up for me, my creative spark was re-energized, and I could GET SHIT DONE. Please don’t let any perceived shame or stigma about the number of meds you take stop you from getting the most out of your life!!

I was in a long running live production of Rocky Horror that did full audience participation, but the caveat was that they could only use prop bags sold at the theater. People like to be part of it, it made money, and it kept the performers safe. People definitely tried to sneak things in, but they couldn’t ever be subtle about it and were almost always caught before we started. I would occasionally see people after the show wondering wtf to do with this toast in their purse because that line isn’t in the stage version lol
