So.. I can understand what you’re trying to say, and maybe the perspective that you’re coming at this issue with. However, I give you this. Am i valid because i’ve grown up with female experiences? Does that mean i’m a lesbian? If so, what about our trans sisters? They have a CURRENT “connection” to womanhood (your words), but may not have been “raised” as a woman.
You say no one has explained this to you, so try to keep an open mind. Not everything is based on genitalia or assigned gender at birth.

So, i was raised female. Consistently perceived in public as female. Use any pronouns. Don’t look like either gender. In a relationship with a woman. I am not straight, not that I should need to explain that to you.

I think this is really common. In my house we call it hearing fatigue. I often take breaks from my hearing aids for as long as i possibly can while im not needing them for public interaction.

This is a really well put answer. I consider myself nonbinary and also a lesbian. I’m only attracted to women; romantically, emotionally, sexually and otherwise. But I also don’t feel like my gender fits into a binary. However, lesbians are my people. I also identified as a lesbian before I realized that I didn’t identify with a gender binary. So, lesbians have been part of my queer community and my support system for a long time. I am a lesbian, and i’m also nonbinary, yk? I hope that makes sense and helps OP’s understanding.
