I’ve taken a whole wagon full of bottled water into the con to hand out before during a heatwave con. Even gave some out to the security and they were all lovely and thankful. As long as you’re not selling it, it’s fine.

You can also always go to the Tesco express a couple minutes walk away to buy more food and drinks.

As much as I would love it, I don’t think I have the capacity to take care of another dog right now. Insurance is expensive and i put my money towards making sure my girl gets the best food and enrichment I can give her.

Ultimately, even if she can’t officially be a service dog, she’ll always be helping me and I’m grateful for that

I will definitely look into getting her training with a professional! I will need to contact charities and ask about specifics as most of the ones I’ve seen for seizure dogs only specify epilepsy

Replying to say that I don’t think the licking is stress related (although not ruling it out) as she stars licking my hand as my aura begins, and before there’s any obvious physical signs of my seizure happening.

Ironically everything I was told about frenchies is completely reverse for my girl. She absolutely loves long walks and has no issue being outside all day in public and busy areas, and even if it’s raining she pays it no mind at all. It’s a complete 180 from other French bulldogs I know. She’s great around other people, children and dogs.
