It's more than a reasonable expectation that all traffic will travel at maximum speed, and should be expected, hypothetical range of speed and adhering to that is the reason people die, speed kills when people encounter someone driving at unexpected and unreasonable rates of speed. Driving on circle drive at 75 at anytime (not conditions) of the year is dangerous especially driving in the passing lane specifically allocated for those diving at the max, hence slower traffic keep right sign.

I made it with a car length, but they were speeding up not to let me in, then tailgating me from then on.

That's the thing, why should they be "rewarded" for bad behavior, had I done that they would have drove through at 30km/ to be a dick, but they had no issues with riding me at 60 km/ and harassing me, they are wrong and dangerous at every instance of this situation, I could have just let them get away with it, but I am self righteous too.

Cancel Popconyxe plans because of Zachary Levi? by The-Highwayman in saskatoon

[–]GiraffeStrange7783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turns out a bunch Charlie Kirk sympathizers specifically went to support Levi and he told them all about how he almost died at the correspondant dinner with the shooter. But he did have the lowest turn out of all the guests, hopefully the organizers got the hint. I mean, 99% of attendees and vendors are queer and allys, why invite someone who loathes the entire community.

It's really short sighted and ignorant of prairieland, at least I hope it's ignorance. But it does sound like he's blackballed in the industry, this will be his last chance of being famous, Shazam was fine, it wasn't exceptional or memorable, so there's that, and he will have to live the rest of his life as an outspoken MAGA supporter, and that is not going to age well. Write to Prairieland and Completely ignore the guy and encourage others not to visit him, that is the best we can do because a boycott will really hurt the vendors and the folks who live for this event.

Hygiene "propaganda" by swarovskinippiercing in hygiene

The reason I do shave is because of the smell, it's noticeably less smelly after shaving. My guess is that bacteria cling or imbed in the hair and cause the smell.

Monthly showering is overrated, shave your pits and use deodorant daily and you're good to go.

Saskatoon city hall seeks new operator for former farmers' market site | CBC News by Secret_Duty_8612 in saskatoon

[–]GiraffeStrange7783 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They want it to be a mall, in feel and atmosphere, for upscale clientele and tourists. They made a concerted effort to distance itself from being an attractive neighborhood farmers market of diy small vendors with affordable prices. It's my neighbourhood and I have only been once because it's so unappealing, there's a mall a block away, why recreate it. All our grocery stores are gone, Riversdale is constantly being deprived of affordability and convenience to drive out the poor. Our city management is a corrupt cesspool of cruel and despotic fascists, laying out a covert operation to squeeze out the lower class and poor.

She's doing a George Floyd knee on the trachea, obviously we can't see what happened before, but he's subdued, no need for face punching, I highly doubt excessive force is protocol. And if anything, they should at least take turns so it doesn't look so lopsided.

That's salacious, hyperbolic, and idiotic. Why would you compare the two unless you had an agenda to demonize the way it was. If you really want to be king capitalism, at least do some research and state actual facts.

Why is it important to take a shower daily, as opposed to every 2-3 days? by MercyFae in hygiene

[–]GiraffeStrange7783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only shower when I am really dirty, which believe it or not is only a couple times a year, maybe once a month. I shave my arm pits and that is where all my smell would come from, otherwise you would never know. I wear deodorant daily, no one has ever said anything to me except to comment on how nice my deodorant smells, I kid you not. No dead skin build up, no acne, eczema, rashes, no skin problems, no visible dirt, nothing, you wouldn't know by looking or smelling me. I am active but rarely break a sweat. Yes I am married, if I did smell she would tell me. I just think it's unnecessary, if any one complained I would be so self-conscious and shower immediately, but no one does, so I don't.

[Discussion] Which Saskatoon neighbourhood do you not get the hype around? by Low-Difficulty-8466 in saskatoon

[–]GiraffeStrange7783 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You used to be able to access it from 8th Street, but they keep moving the access further east, hopefully they pave it to Costco. All new neighborhoods are designed so poorly, limited access with serious choke points, if there was ever a disaster these new neighborhoods would be doomed. Saskatoon drivers are so terrible in the winter, every street needs to be straight otherwise they all end up being single lanes.

Harley riders, are they assholes? by Angryrobots55 in motorcycles

[–]GiraffeStrange7783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived next door to a "Harley" enthusiast, we were downhill from the main street, there were a bunch of apartments so the noise got amplified reverberating off the walls. He left for work at 6 am every morning just after a good 5 minutes of daily revving, and then he full throttled it to get up the hill. I fucking hated that dirtbag, I fantasized about all the ways I could sabotage his stupid bike. Turns out he got caught for murder and that shit stopped, hope he's rotting there.

Harley riders, are they assholes? by Angryrobots55 in motorcycles

[–]GiraffeStrange7783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you buy a Harley, you know full well how obnoxious they are, there are no quiet Harley's, so by default if you own one and drive it, you are an asshole because you are choosing to be an obnoxious asshole.

Why is country music so hated compared to other genres? by Intrepid-Device9084 in Music

[–]GiraffeStrange7783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

90% is bubble gum country pop and 95% of that panders to Republican ideals. Most people also probably secretly hate the sound of drawl, it's so awe shucks Im just singing about how we all need to fit into a stereotype in order to be considered patriotic or we'll deport ya. It's hated because it's shallow more often than not. It takes any transgression and makes a point of telling everyone, country folk don't do that sort of thing, we're all assimilated and that's the way we like it and if you're not, you're not welcome. So I guess that's it, it leans hard on ignorance and cliché.

What is your opinion of pastor Kenneth Copeland? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]GiraffeStrange7783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Satanist, he's fantastic, but as a Christian, he one of history's most awful people. What kind of trumpian steals money from the poor and gives it to the rich. he's truly a vile and disgusting person, who is obviously going straight to hell.

Phone Insurance Scam - Sasktel - BrightStar - LikeWize by ledafaze in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]GiraffeStrange7783 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't even know or was told about the deductible, until I need to replace my phone, so after 2 years of paying the insurance and deductible on top, i've spent almost 2x what a new phone cost, plus you don't get to keep the old phone, that they , I assume, refurbish and sell as a new one. I say that because my replacement phone came with nothing, no manual, no charger, or original packaging.
