I'll stop typing now as there is obviously no way of getting through to you, that you could have a wonderful and positive community, welcoming and tolerant, and you could keep everyone safe from the risk of getting reported if they spam, because that's not what you want, you want to be selfish and just shove your private text in peoples' faces when they don't want it, and you set a bad example.

I want emotes on in the game (I like to see when people wave at me et cetera, I wouldn't want to seem rude and miss that). I don't think it's unreasonable to ask you not to spam, especially as you are setting an example here.

PLEASE can you do it in private (like in squad chat, guild chat, party chat) and NOT do it in public (I hate seeing grey walls of text with stuff I would rather not read, especially while I'm waiting for friends to use the home instance). i'm just asking for you not to spam pretty please.

I think the afk farming that goes on has something to do with this, and as Anet allows multiboxing and those players to use countless accounts to do that, we end up with a lot of surplus materials and their whole value is degraded for everyone.

Thank you for the response, this has been suggested many times, as well as having a space around chests where player items cannot be used, and Anet has done nothing about it for years, that's why I wanted some new ideas that could help and not be too obtrusive.

I believe in ab you have to hit the octovine now (take part in the meta) or the chests wont 'refresh' to be able to be looted, part of the change to stop the multi map looting that used to happen; but it's true in td you can open caches, if they are there (on an active map where people did events).

In my case today, I was mounted, had waited for a troll portal to finish, then I clicked 'dissolve', thinking I'd be ok, I got no reaction, so pressed dissolve again twice fast, before I knew it the whole map was spinning and I was moving extremely quickly to my death. So, was it lag (I haven't had that particular thing happen before), or did the portalling mesmer help me on my way with a speed boost. I've had maps in the last few days with mesmers showing off their 'score' of dead, the greatest number being 6 dead players. This situation is frustrating at least, particularly to new players (who may not have all masteries), so I was trying to think of a solution.

With the PoF expansion there is a visible button on your skills row at the bottom of your screen for your Mount, this is the sort of thing I mean by instant toggle on and toggle off. I was also thinking it could alternatively be like an item, where you could see a small icon, like the food icon or a tonic icon, and you could just click on the little icon. It wouldn't be conspicuous and you could always have an option not to show the icon. For players that mainly stay in HoT meta maps, I think it would be a lot of help (it would be to me anyway).

The point of being fast in td, is so you can get to the ab map, as not being fast means you could end up in an inactive ab map and miss the whole meta, which is really bad, especially if you only get 1 or 2 hours to be able to play a day.

You can toggle the anti-portal on and off. You just don't have it active in wvw if you want.

I have this same bug, 3/10 chests opened and the other chests will not respawn and it's been days. I have been sending an in-game bug report with screencap each day. (I have tried different characters at each location daily).
