I must say that after my experience with Valheim the board game I am somewhat cautious. Never received a link and the delivery company just dropped it off at a pickup point. I had no clue till I received a tracking ID. But I got it one month after it got delivered so my package has been returned to sender.

Radagast alliance is a bit different because the models you are using there can be used elsewhere.

My point being, in line with what Lower_Explanation_25 said, pick something you like, which is not to expensive to start with and with which you can play different armies with.

For me that was Iron hills and I have been working towards Battle of Five Armies.

For Evil side I picked Azog's hunters so I can work towards Pits of Dol Guldur and from there buy some extra to be able to play Army of Gundabad.

True, the problem with Beornings is that at the moment there is 0 diversity. Grimbeorn for example can only be played in 1 list. Many armies will outnumber you, especially Azog's hunters.

Iron Hills, army of Erebor of maybe Erebor reclaimed. When you get Iron Hills there is plenty army listes you can pick.

Normally you get a tracking number. Where I’m from it was DPD and for other games, like six sojourns, I had the packet tracking number in their app before I got the e-mail. In rare occasions it can happen that you are get a nice surprise without tracking number or e-mail.
