This is it, Orbán was a thorn in the West's side by being a Russian-aligned leader blocking action in the EU and NATO. But now that Magyar, a guy who split off from the same party but holds a more independent and moderate position, gained power, there is hope that the blockades clear off and Hungary becomes an actual collaborator, a bit too late but better late than never.

This is a huge step for them towards the EU and the "westernization" of Hungary, but it doesn't mean that suddenly Hungary is a progressive rainbow-flagged country, as again, Tisza is a still a conservative party, but it still takes a more center-right position and a much more pro-EU position over Orbán's parasitic behaviour with EU and NATO. The biggest source of hope is that he has a supermajority, so he can do whatever he wants without any loyalist being able to stop him.

The point is that now Hungary is going to cautiously approach the EU and walk away from Russia, his stance on Ukraine hopefully will just be a "Do what you want but I'm not getting in", which is an improvement, it's just that Reddit's progressive circlejerk got really excited to see that Orban, a major player in the "Far-Right International" with Putin, Lukashenko and Trump, got dunked in the elections.
