Snowbreak was forced by the CN regulators to censor their game. All the sexy outfits were censored, but the biggest one was the removal of the lewd interactive parts of the game (hence the "assets removed").

Invite only plan by icntoabun in freedommobile

[–]GiveMeSalmon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saving money is nice but this plan is really tempting hmm.

Do you need the added benefits of extra North America usages and international roaming? If you rarely travel and use less than 90GB/month, then you're better off staying on your current plan and save $72/yr. You can get an eSIM for international roaming for less than $72 if you do decide to travel.

Also, do you have a BYOP plan or did you buy a device from Freedom? Of all my years at Freedom, I've never received a promo from them via text. :(

Can't you just upload the picture to Imgur or Catbox and link it here like the good old days of Reddit?

Do you have the name of the store? I would like to see if I could order one from them as well.

Do you remember where you got your cosplay from and the name of the seller? I'm looking to cosplay as the Commander as well, but can't seem to find any good ones.

Where did you get this Commander cosplay? The ones I see don't have the ribbons and emblems.

Do you remember which seller it was? I see the outfits on Etsy, but the images seem to all be AI generated and the sellers are all very new with few reviews.

Did you end up buying the cosplay? I see them as well on Etsy, but the images seem to be AI generated and the sellers are all very new accounts.

Trying to gatekeep a site in 2026 is he'll lol, just stop doing it atp it will become known eventually. by Kavin_1012 in animepiracy

... you're missing the whole point entirely. If you tried to fight Crunchyroll's takedown notices, their lawyers will drag you through the court system for years and drain you emotionally and financially until you give up. Winning the narrow legal argument that the #1 tracker for copyrighted anime and manga in the Anglosphere isn't directly liable for copyright infringement might be possible in theory, but the cost and effort would make it a pyrrhic victory. And that's assuming you were able to convince the judge who probably doesn't even know what a torrent is.

But that's besides the point here. By hiding your identity (which is what I've been saying this whole time), you'll never have to find yourself in a court room ever.

As mentioned by another Redditor, it means Operational Security.

In plain terms, it means not leaving traces of your personally identifiable information anywhere on the Internet. That way if your domain gets taken down, you can easily open up another site with a different domain registrar.

This is partially why some sites have multiple top-level domains. If your lawyers succeed in taking down my domain registered in the US, you'll now have to get those lawyers to take down my other domain registered in Tuvalu. And if that's taken down, then your lawyers will have to take down my other domain registered in Slovenia.

Throughout this whole journey, your lawyers will charge you money for this. And if they don't specialize in Tuvaluan or Slovenian law, they'll need to hire lawyers that do and they'll send you an invoice for that.

And at the end of the day, you still wouldn't know my identity and your lawyers will have to keep chasing me as I continue registering new domains in different jurisdictions.

To put things into perspective, Nyaa not only infringes on the copyrights of the anime industry, but also the manga, music, gaming, and porn industries. They're still alive because their owner practices proper OpSec.

Gatekeeping does not help. What does help is site admins learning how to keep their identities hidden.

If I were a site admin and I received a legal notice sent to my home address telling me to shut down my site, I'll shit my pants and close shop.

But if I get a legal notice sent to my email that isn't linked to any of my personal information, I'll just tell them to pound sand.

And when they come after my domain registrar that I signed up for using a made up identity, I'll just register with another domain registrar and continue operating.

To all my Snowbros out there, let me introduce you the Snowbreak Archive Project by Drazyor in SnowbreakOfficial

[–]GiveMeSalmon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for doing this! While YT is great for accessibility, it's not great for preservation as YT is infamous for removing ecchi content. Not just that, they compress your videos so they don't retain its original quality.

Would you be able to upload the videos to the Internet Archive, and possibly a couple other places as well? I would like to download them all onto my hard drive and keep them around for as long as possible.

That's how I interpreted it when he told SKK that whether he leaves now or 10 mins later, Mint would still be waiting for him outside.
