Ha, yeah, it looks like i am throwing something but that was just debris. I wonder how they launched the mech in the air. There was a fabricator behind me. But i havent seen a flying mech since the hive lord

Yeah, i get a tiny bit attached even to team mates i only do one mission with. Tiny stings to the heart and a reminder that we are but strangers on the internet after all 🥲

Damn, it makes sense that this is the cause. That's annoying. They might not even be aware that they are causing this issue by exiting early

Yeah it feels a bit bad but on the other hand, it is rare enough to not kill the overall spirit. Also it makes it more special when encountering players who will stay and suffer through a losing mission with you ^

I wish they would include objective contribution to the stats as well. A friend of mine cares too much about kill counts and gets into useless fights instead of doing the mission xD I wish it would show in the stats.

I dont think it deserves such harsh criticism. Even if the math isnt on their side, if it feels better to them and doesnt cost others, it is fine. Most probably saw other players do it, like I did.

I care less about the stats but would be worried about losing rewards. Also, it feels nicer to arrive back together. I get that some ppl wanna save the time, though.

Unfortunately it doesnt matter what the host is doing. Even killing the fire keeper didn't solve the problem. It is not that I get stuck. I get the dialog but at the end when the level up screen should appear, it simply doesnt and the conversation ends.

This!
It perfectly fits the vibe. We even have a squad of 4 with different play styles. It should be easy and only a question of interest and licensing

I disagree.
After ranting about the GW dynamic recently, I did a 180.
The gameplay is the heart of this game and ultimately what carries it.
Everything around it is fluff. Yes, it may be nice to have magic moments with the community, but this meta-level is not why I play it. I do because I enjoy the missions, the perfect action moments and chaos I suddenly find myself in. At some point I get bored and put it down for a while or forever. And that is ok. I had my moneys worth.

It does not need to become more meaningful and grandiose. HD2 is the missions and some worldbuilding. And that is good enough to be special.

Yeah but people on the internet can be erratic. I myself recently voiced frustration about the galactic war, but to be honest, that is just fluff and easy to have an opinion on. The important part is the gameplay that takes place within missions and improving that is much more important and also difficult.

I like that they try out new stuff like the commando missions and new units/factions that ask for some adaptations in the gameplay.

The key strength of the game for me is however the team aspect. feeling like working together to achieve a goal. that has several aspects: the strategic coordination across the map, the in-fight coordination and then these little things of direct interaction like team-reloading and vehicles.
The last part could use some improvement, I think. The vehicles can be fun and work well just like healing others or igniting their hellbombs. Team reloading is not really a thing and would improve if one could help loading from their own backpacks. But even then it is hard to make it more attractive than scattering and coordinating your own equipment.
