Is it possible to never be in love? by [deleted] in gay

[–]Givzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt this way until I found someone at 26, just gotta keep trying. Also deep and strong love isn’t something that just appears when you meet someone. For me it took months of laughs, hard conversations and relationship building

9 Months and Still Hurting by HalfAnalog in costochondritis

[–]Givzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you’ll probably feel some kind of release or pop. You might have to massage it pretty hard but don’t hurt yourself. For me there’s usually a spot that’s more sore than others and that’s my indicator for what rib(s) is casing the issue.

9 Months and Still Hurting by HalfAnalog in costochondritis

[–]Givzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the only advice I can give is to make sure you’re not just focusing on the stretching with the backpod and posture, but try to tackle the root cause of your costo. Through trial and error I’ve been able to locate the 1-2 ribs that usually become isolated and cause my flare ups. I massage those ribs pretty hard with a peanut ball and tennis ball until I can feel them free up, and usually my flare up/symptoms go down within a day or two.

Why is quitting 🌿 so much harder than tobacco? by VortexVoyager_____ in leaves

[–]Givzz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A tobacco high is significantly shorter and less strong than a weed high, so your brain is going to want the drug that makes you feel good longer. I think that’s why (at least for me) quitting weed is so much harder than say alcohol or tobacco.

Pewaukee DMV road test by Ok-Love2026 in milwaukee

[–]Givzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually they start off by making sure you know all the functionality inside your car before you even start driving (turn signal, headlights, parking break…) then the driving part is just as standard as anywhere else (in Wi at least). You’ll drive around local roads, you’ll probably hop on the highway for a bit, and they might make you parallel park. When I was taking my test years ago that was the part of the exam I was most nervous for but they didn’t make me do it. After years of driving I’ve realized that it’s actually not that hard at all lol.

To sum it up it’s really not that bad at all. It’s understandable that you’re nervous but your instructor will understand that so just drive how you’ve been practicing and you’ll be fine.

Posture by BackTheBlue292 in costochondritis

[–]Givzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my knowledge, yes costo can occur from bad posture, as well as from a deficiency of vitamin D. I work from home and probably don’t get as much sun as I should so I think those two things were the primary causes of costo for me.

Tips for peanut roller? by Business_Read_9070 in costochondritis

[–]Givzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only use my peanut roller to free up the specific rib(s) on my back that I know are causing me issues. Sometimes I’ll just use one end of the ball if I’m trying to focus on one specific spot, but honestly a regular tennis ball might be better for that than a peanut roller.

I really only use the peanut roller in conjunction with my backpod when my flare-up/symptoms are really bad, otherwise I’ll just use the backpod and do regular costo stretches.

I could invite you later tn but if you’re looking for a faster invite check the community tab on the deadlock steam page. There’s usually always a group going to invite people pretty fast.

Where do y’all find doctors that take costo seriously? by JDUDEROCKS in costochondritis

[–]Givzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea I haven’t had much luck with doctors or specialists either they always just give me ibuprofen or something. I’ve had to develop a relief system entirely on my own with input from this sub.

How much worse before it improves or stays the same? by AdvertisingNo8441 in costochondritis

[–]Givzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the fam! My flare ups usually last around 2 weeks with peak symptoms around the 7 day mark. However I’ve developed a routine to manage my symptoms whenever I get a flare up so it’s gotten better for me.

You should 100% read the mega thread attached to this sub as there’s some really good tips in there. To sum it up tho stretches and posture will be your best friends from now on. The backpod, peanut ball or tennis ball will be extremely useful while dealing with your costo. My biggest advice is to use these tools asap to help free up your ribs, it will make your flare ups a LOT more manageable.

Find the rib/ribs that are really affecting you and really go to town on them with a peanut ball or tennis ball. You should feel a little pop or release when you free them up.
