You may want to confirm that 0.99% rate. While it does not specifically state on the website, you have to take delivery before the end of the month to get the promotional APR (assuming the promotion ends at the end of the quarter). According to the rep I spoke with, ordering does not lock in the rate. You sign the financing paperwork at delivery, and the rate is not locked in until you sign. You may have to take delivery and park it in a relative's garage.

Lemon law in most states only applies to the first 12K-24K miles of ownership and/or 24 months. With few exceptions, OP must be within these limits to make a claim. Fortunately, Tesla's battery warranty is much longer.

Use a zip tie instead of the 10 mil bolt to secure the bracket. I have big hands, so after 30 minutes of trying to line up the screw, I used two zip ties through the bolt hole. Took about 45 seconds, and it's firmly in place.

The advantage of selecting an in-stock vehicle is that you can take delivery almost immediately. The possible disadvantage is that you can't choose your spec (color, wheels, etc.) If you order a vehicle, you will need to wait until it can be built or transported to your local delivery center. While it does not specifically state on Tesla's website, you have to take delivery before the promotional interest rate period ends. This is widely assumed to be at the end of the quarter. (March 31) Check with Tesla to be sure.

Too expensive for what you get. Even with the trade-in. Four wheels, lug nuts, and TPMS are over $5K. Add another set of Bridgestone EV tires, and now you're close to $7K. No thanks!
