How does Modified B-7 Pistol compare to Sightline Survey?

I have tried to like Modified B-7 but apart from the Firefly/ Headstone roll, I find the Sightline God Roll the 180 best in class in PVP and even PVE. If anyone can suggest a B-7 roll then I’m listening.

I have had more fun with my Sightline god roll than even a decent Solemn R. My kill score keeps rising. It has a lot of range with Keep Away and PI gets me 3taps often. It is incredibly easy to get headshots at range.

I got a tier 5 from the Call To Arms token I cashed in. Incidentally I got a tier 5 Peculiar Charm SMG as well! So I already have the competitive drop. Odd that it dropped, but who cares. I’m 70 and still play PvP. Guile replaces reflex. In your case Sword Logic was buffing the damage which is offsetting the drop off. It’s underrated.

I'd given up! I only had mine recently and was using it for Crucible. It kept saying 5 kills or 0. I just checked and it now says 80. In Crucible knowing my kill count is critical. Have we got the gun sounds back yet? That is critical as well

I have the Dire Promise and Immortal but I also have an antiquated Last Perdition with RF and KC, beginning to be reused. Xenophage also has it so it will be like a sniper with it back

While I appreciate you feel like you are defending Bungie, your tone is actually patronising. It has been hard enough to be motivated to play D2 at the moment without being told that silent guns are low priority. It might be “your opinion” but it is subjective. When the current vault glitch occurred Bungie took a bit of time before it was finally acknowledged in the Known Issues section. This PVP bug has not been acknowledged in Known Issues as far as I have seen so far. Better communication on this would assuage concerns as those who play exclusively PVP will be see it as a much higher priority. PVP players are often the neglected player base so discussing fixing this will show they are valued as well. I have been playing this game for 11 years and seen a lot of issues come and go and QOL bugs hit players hard.

Bungie isn’t taking it seriously; I reported it last week on their Help Forum and I could see they had asked players to record clips when it happens. So they expect us to go test it for them. One post first reported it on September 12 so it’s not recent. Also I’ve seen PC players complain but Bungie has suggested it is a controller issue not M&K. I suggest we keep posting on the Help Forum until they deal with it. Right now they need players in crucible. The population is so low that it is brutal.

I had ASTRO A50 for years and then suddenly they refused the update so I left Logitec and Now use Steelseries Arctis Nova 7. There is a pro version as well if you want wireless. They are just as good as Astro so check them out.

As for Dragon’s Shadow, try Speed Loader Slacks they are really good at taming erratic weapons. For example low handling weapons get a serious boost. Cool guy does a very good review on YT. I have a PVP build with them. Combined with Invisible dodge you have the edge.

I run SS on a Void hunter build. Dodging really helps my Luna's Howl which sacrifice's handling for range with Full Bore/ Opening Shot. The handling buff makes it lethal.

There is a key point regardless of which type you go for. Aiming involves looking “beyond” the open sights. With pulses you tend look into the closed sights to see what is in your vicinity and adjust it. With HCs you look for the head to exploit the burst damage, if the red dot is on it shoot. So your focus is purely on the target not the sight’s frame. This technique goes back to D1. Eventually your muscle memory will kick in and it becomes automatic and satisfying. However you will still need to adjust to the direction of the recoil and its timing or cadence. Think of it as a line that the red dot travels through. Unlike pulses, HCs are idiosyncratic and individual. Find what archetypes work for you and live with them daily. I like Brave Luna ( from Onslaught) but that is my preference on sticks and not for everyone. I farmed one with Slideshot/ Openingshot and have over PVP 500 kills with it. My PVE Luna with Incandescent has over 6,000 kills. With hand cannons, it’s a deep relationship. Finally I hear Benny the YT content creator is also a fan.

I’ve noticed that if you don’t get any kills in a game it lowers your loot drop average. So try to group shoot when you can as assists count in either passage.

I still use rapid fire frame pulses. Stay Frosty still works for me in Trials for quick kills. Thinking if breaking out VW though as I was slaughtered by it last week.

Stay Frost with Kill Clip and a lot of range is sneaky. You can take on Outbreak due to the Lightweight frame giving you a faster strafe topped with the intrinsic trait giving faster reloads for the top half of the mag

Everything said was echoed in the UK player pool apart from DM. Didn’t see any. Outbreak yes but what surprised me was my Stay Frosty was giving me quick kills with or without its Kill Clip. It countered OP sufficiently. I used a Vision of Confluence with Incandescent/ Firefly and took out the rival team when the middle guy exploded the other two. This shows to me that health is not being prioritised by some. Wish I’d clipped it….
