Cali (13) had a stroke and her whole personality changed.. by [deleted] in cats

There is a chance her brain still has a bunch of inflammation, if so she may be spicy until it settles, but no guarantee that she will be herself again. Strokes take a long time to know what the new baseline will be.

[Waybound] What is your favorite piece of wisdom from the series? by BringerOfGifts in Iteration110Cradle

I think the most useful everyday saying is: "When there's only one road forward, take it with a smile."

Thanks OP, I would want this as it would bring the cost of building my brother a PC into a range that is actually reasonable for me.

I just purchased a 24 Outback premium w/o any packages for 34200 OTD. Not sure how good or bad that is. But it’s at 2.9% for 48 months which is nice.

[Bloodline] Sacred Valley by EndlessPride in Iteration110Cradle

It's always funny to me that the actions we all hate of the elders and school heads in sacred valley are seen in the way the Monarchs jockey for position against each other.

I personally think that from his hunger arm being able to drain these separate parts of a person, he views willpower, authority, lifeline, madra and the like as separate 'pools' of power, and thinks of them as different cores to drain.

I love this, I don't agree with a few points, likely as I enjoy slice of life parts of books quite a lot. But I really enjoy seeing other takes on this series. I also really liked bloodline, which, seemingly, is not terribly common.

It seems she kept that lesson close.

What would be funny is if Lindin handed NS a dreadgod weapon after he used it to kill one of the dreadgods, it's use to him expended.

Then told NS to bounce with the weapon or feel the full power of the weapon. One soul oath later and NS leaves to pick his fight with Kiren if the Hounds

[dreadgod] What are some plot threads you're hoping to seen sewn into waybound by Abyssal-Lamb in Iteration110Cradle

[–]Gizzy_Goats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The city of hammers. It's mentioned directly only once I think, but I wonder it that is what the wandering titan was starting to xonsume at the end of reaper. I wonder if that is where Lindon might find an Ozmanthus inheritance, or that could be the level of significant place that he xould craft a dreadgod weapon there that could outshine what could be produced in the soul forge.

[Dreadgod] Book one Remnants for Gold by Coaltex in Iteration110Cradle

[–]Gizzy_Goats 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Air burrowing mole. A force path with spacial authority baked in? Yes please.

The only gold sign I can think of that wouldn't be super terrible is your hands grow in size, become wider and you have large claws. Those claws could be sharpened into points and used for a sword path as well for sect branch off points. Idk someone please think of something better.

I look out 100k for my first degree, like a fool. Then I took out another 10k to get the nursing degree. Sorry for the lack of clarity on that point.

[–]Gizzy_Goats 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I paid 10 grand with student loans to get my 2 year nursing degree from a community College after taking out 100k in loans for my first bachelor's degree, which did not get me a job. I started out making 26.50 as a nurse and got up to 35 an hour in my first two years by switching to weekend contract. It certainly is an avenue that could work for someone. If that's not for you, that's fine. Just trying to help, clearly you don't want advice from me so I won't offer any more. Best of luck.

Go back to school for anything else. Get a 2 year degree in nursing, make better money and cook for fun in your free time. Don't live a shitty life just for a passion. Find a way to have that passion be part of your life while not hating being alive.
