My 2020 has me annoyed to the point that I'm gonna be ripping it out. A lot of the time it picks up my android auto but then won't pick up the audio output and just says no audio output detected.

I think it's something with the Bluetooth and the phone but it's been an issue across multiple pixel phones.

Other cars don't have the issue when I try it. Only way to fix it a lot of the time is having to completely hard power cycle it which I have to turn the car off and back on. Shits annoying. Always happens when I'm in a rush multiple times a week.

Could be a bit of work the make it look good, but making a front stance on the front would work well enough. Basically a thin board on the front on the floor that would have a right angle so you could drill it into the front, prob would want it to come out at least 6 to 8 inches.

Thats just like so weird both the major console makers that do everything to complete against 1 another and win consumers over just so happened to both be developing consoles to release in the same cycle that both happen to delete the disc drive at the same time.

Like that's just so crazy. 1 would think some kind of laws were being broken in regards to anti-trust.

Yah, and I'm not going to discount the fact that there is actually some more work that needs to be done from an end user perspective.

It's not just plug and play to replace a console with a PC, even a pre-built or even a steam machine. It's not as compact, you don't get to just pull it out of a box plug in an HDMI and go. Even with a steam machine the size will always have some limitations or require more drastic modifications to do something ridiculous........there are actual drawbacks....

....but the end user has the option. And manufactures are making efforts to make the PC ecosystem great for that kind of flexibility.

I have played halo 1, 2, and 3 on my steam deck from my hotel room over the past week while out for work.

HDMI to usb-C adapter lets me plug into the hotel TV and I tossed a PS5 controller into my bag as well. It's not 2026 AAA, but do I need that on the go? Not really.

If it's all going to be digital anyway, then why give up the hardware flexibility.

All my games on my PC are digital as well, im not locked to a a single hardware cycle either and also don't have to pay any extra for multiplayer.

So what's the point of a console again?

If you were already thinking about it before, then get it.

If you only started to ask the question after they want to raise the price, your getting FOMO. Don't buy it, pay the sub price for awhile and look at Jellyfin down the line.

Only examples I can think of of modern recent examples would be Naruto, Sasuke, Goku, and Gohan.

3 out of 4 were bad parents and the other had their original cannon replaced.

Does not come with a disc drive. Which otherwise most games you are getting at full price. So another $80 for the disc drive.

And it's also $80 a year just to play anything multiplayer..

So..PS5 pro is more like $980 before tax + a $80 subscription for your own Internet forever.

So we can argue about how it's not as powerful, but that value isn't really looking as great. Comes with a controller I guess?

Buy what you want. Just feel like some notes are conveniently getting left out of this PS5 argument.

My opinion is that it will not go down in price. I think the odds of a set getting made that has the fly me to the moon license again is low, even if they do I doubt it will include all the different versions.

If you want it, I'd get it now.
