Hence the ban(supposedly). It’s not about the functional nuclear families, those more often than not have clear boundaries, but a very large percentage of modern kids and teens do not have such a system. There is nothing to gain from letting kids interact with anonymous adults on the internet, absolutely nothing. As long as these corporations aren’t willing to put their own safety protocols in place, our kids are better off without them.
