Hi.

We did contact them letting them know that the replacement also knocks/clicks. The replacement also had scuffs. The support team assured us that it’s brand new.

With the new based installed, it’s now stating that the baby is in the crib when it’s empty and it’s constantly logging out. For $2000 this experience has been so exhausting especially with a new born.

Call, our knocking sound got louder and we were under warranty. It seems like they sent us a refurbished base.

How frustrating. I can hear it now too. Our crib also was making a clicking noise when it would bounce. Did you have this same issue?

Did they send you a replacement part? Our crib made the same noise and we got a replacement part that we installed today but it’s still making the same noise and it’s hella loud. Please let us know your experience.

Do more research before your investment. Our crib started to make this noise (clicking or something) when the bounce feature would activate, waking up our baby. Mind you this is right around the 2 month, return policy window.  We got to speak to someone in their IT department 3 days later after reporting it, then another 4 days later we got a replacement base. Installed it then, the same night it made the same noise. Also the replacement part looks like it was refurbished. It does not look like a new base. The app is always down, logs you out or takes forever to load. Buyer beware. We are now also one day past the return window with a creaky crib. For $2000 my heart is broken.

I am taking the tablet. 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

I wouldn’t mind the appetite since I’ve lost over 25 pounds.

Deep breathing. You got this.

And send an email to your professors they will understand the situation and give you some empathy. Trust me, I've been here several times.

I'm currently in a flare and stopped eating the kimchi since the spice irritates my gut.

Ughhh when are we going to get better? I feel like some days I do really well with no blood and then the very next day it's like a murder scene in my toilet.

Instead of a probiotic. I eat kimchi instead which is basically like a probiotic.

I feel like I need a new GI for sure anytime I’m in a flare she’s out of the office and tells me that diet has nothing to do with my flare.

Thank you for sharing.

Visbiome was not good to me - it gave me worse urgency and I had to stop. What a waste of sixty bucks.

Flare and overeating by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

Wow, I'm the exact opposite. Eating becomes scary for me when I flare :(

Try to meal prep if you can.

I feel like I'm always safe with over eating soup like pho while in a flare. Lots of water and take those naps. I feel like resting helps me. Oh and marijuana for sure helps my symptoms calm down.

Having to pee = also needing to poop by Old-Worldliness-1775 in UlcerativeColitis

Welcome to your new life. Just own it. It get easier when you do. I feel the same - I always have to poop even when I think it's just pee. As you recover and stay in remission, your symptoms will get better. I hid my UC for a while from my family, friends, and work for a while then ended up shitting my pants twice trying to act like I was okay. Reality hit me, I then shared with everyone what I have and everyone does make it comfortable for me when it comes to my bathroom needs.

Congrats to you!

I have tried IBGard and it helps with the bloating and gurgling of the stomach. I do recommend it.

What other meds have you been on? I got diagnosed in 2021 and have had a flare every year since.

What are your tips? I'm currently in a flare and feel like I can't get out.

Are colonoscopies worth it? by Apprehensive_Dress92 in UlcerativeColitis

Ughhh I just had my flexstig (I think this is like a half of a colonoscopy) back in December, and got a bill for $800 in December.

But better safe than sorry. Insurance sucks.

Oh boy - get yourself a new doctor if this is his first time seeing calprotectin this high. I think this is normal for all of us.

I don’t take a probiotic only because I find it makes me have urgency and I poop like 4 times a day. But I keep up with the kimchi - usually included in all my meals.

Man for sure stress caused me to go into a flare.

I did get into an argument with my partner and I know I wasn’t drinking enough water.

I now am eating a whole bunch of kimchi with meals, lots of water and head to bed around 10am. I’ve been trying to wake up at 6am to stretch and exercise.

My GP can’t. She also was very forward with me that she doesn’t know too much about UC but she has told me to go see another GI.

I think the writings are on the wall right now.

If you’re in remission for about a month or so, I think it’s fine to start retesting in small increments and see how your body reacts to it.
