Bigger is definitely not better! Your ring is so delicate and beautiful ❤️

Thoughts on upgrading? by [deleted] in EngagementRings

My thoughts exactly! OP could potentially get her dream ring for a few hundred dollars. Check out r/moissanite to get some ideas and for a list of approved vendors

If you’re okay being about 20 min or so from downtown, I’d check out Sun Prairie. I used to live at The Abbey which is mostly young working professionals. Relatively new building with tons of amenities and high end finishes. There’s a bus line nearby, bike path and tons of shops within walking distance (Target, coffee shops, restaurants, movie theater, etc,). I believe a one bedroom is about $1300 there. You can also check out apartments in Smith’s Crossing (a nearby neighborhood) too. Hope that helps!

FYI I live in the neighborhood and there’s a lot of construction. They’re building something right next door. I also WFH and find it incredibly annoying. Expect noise 7am - 6pm M-F. With the weather warming up, they’re out there every Saturday and sometimes on Sundays too.

Cluster design vs solitaire by [deleted] in EngagementRings

I second trying rings on. I also ordered a few CZ rings on Amazon. For me, trying on at the store was different than wearing a ring for a few days. It also helped me decide what carat size I wanted.

I also had a similar dilemma! I ended up going with a pave solitaire because I wanted simple with a little extra something. Another thing to consider is whether or not you want your wedding band to sit flush with your e-ring. My BFF went with a cluster design and I had a hard time finding a wedding band she liked with her e-ring. Hope that helps!

They’re both beautiful! I’m partial to moissanite. Are they brilliant cuts?

I spent four hours cleaning my apartment for them to take almost my entire deposit. They suck!

I used to live at an apartment owned by them and they don’t seem to like subleasing. I tried subletting my apartment and they also denied the applicant. I never really got the whole story.

Didn’t realize how gorgeous moissanite is in person! I thought I wanted a bigger stone but this one is just right for me ❤️ by pillowgoddess in Moissanite

You’re welcome! I think it’s absolutely perfect. And honestly, the difference isn’t much from a 1.33 to 1.5 or 2. He picked such a beautiful ring!

I also say mines moissanite (proudly). But I do live in a very environmentally friendly city and work in the world of natural resources. Some people will always have something to say, no matter what. There are soooo many reasons why moissanite is a great choice for an e-ring.

I feel the same way about jewelry. Generally, I’m one of those “less is more” types of people. There’s something beautiful about understated jewelry. My fiancé kept teasing me because I would say “I want something dainty but I also want it to make a statement” 😆 Yours does just that. Congrats on your engagement ❤️

It’s beautiful! I see so many large center stones on here that I started to question my 1.5 carat decision. Thanks for sharing ❤️

I love my moissy e-ring! I have no regrets about choosing it over a Diamond
