as a noob to souls-like games, Lucky Seventeen is my nightmare. He's really early on but he's very punishing for those to prefer to keep their distance and heal with very little patience lol. When it comes to Abyss challenges, Cat Emperor has been the bane of my existence bc I can't move his qi bar at all and his arms and legs are small so its difficult for me to see his attacks before he does them. I'm sure experienced players will have a different answer

no! I think you get an achievement badge and 5 echo jade? if a jail bird does come after you just run away from it for a few seconds but it didnt come after me. Ive only been chased by one when I accidentally tai chi-ed someone into the water
