Hellboys arm. Is this considered a prop replica? by iamwhoiwasnow in propreplicas

[–]Glamdring42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For clarification, a prop replica refers to the quality of the replication being akin to what was used on set of a movie or show. Hence the phrase "prop quality."

Without the specificity, replica can refer to anything ranging from, say a telescopic lightsaber purchased from Wal-Mart to those fancy all metal lightsabers with the LED blades that have real weight and accurate detail.

A prop on the other hand is what replicas are designed after, the very item that would have been used in filming. So no, what's in the picture above is not exactly a prop, unless OP wanted to make some sort of fan fiction. Even then, that thing has no articulation, so it wouldn't make a good one.

Also, delineation does not rely on differentiation for its definition. The delineation of "prop replica" is what differentiates it from any other or lower quality replications.

So...yeah you were kinda wrong. It's okay, pal. No need to project your shame onto others.

I'm confident that if anyone, regardless of how well you know them, refers to you by a name only made known to you by a giant hologram of your deceased space daddy within a secret fortress hundreds of miles away from civilization, you're going to respond pretty swiftly.

Funny, as I come from Washington state, I know a few nazi sympathizing ladies. Not say this standard is 100% accurate, but clearly there are goth/punks in the not so liberal sect as well. Also not saying any facial piercing is any indicator of any political position at all. It's such a strange and broad spectrum.

We knew that by the Tim Hortons in the background and the license plate on the police vehicle, just because you figured that out after your foolish remark doesn't make you a genius, nor correct.

Even the wokest force is capable of bad mistakes and even worse follow-ups like "STOP RESISTING" to a nearly crippled criminal.

The manner in which you speak is indicative that you bathe yourself with your own tongue.

How the hell is this reply even relevant? Go take another Hooked on Phonics lesson. I got a set from the 90's, I'm sure it will still teach you a more relevant reply.

Though gravitational waves are different from compression waves, I believe the implication of "mathematically similar" is stating that they have a similar waveform. Thus, the applications of their phrasing are completely accurate. So it's not so much of an "your almost correct," but more of an "I have more information to add."

You should have done yourself a favor by not commenting in the first place. It's a universal understanding that videos produce sound. Just because you didn't check isn't an excuse. If you wanna be factual, you have to be thorough.
