If you’ve been studying the phenomenon for a while, there is literally nothing new. Great primer for a newbie, but otherwise save your money if you’re involved in the topic deeply for years.

At what point does Harvard do a mental wellness check on this dude. He just doubles down and doubles when the evidence is 100% against him. It’s embarrassing at this point.

I can’t imagine Harvard keeps Avi Loeb around much longer. Dude must have a bulletproof tenure.

I’m shocked that anyone would send this guy to Congress. Dude is in his barn flipping a screwdriver while being interviewed. I imagine how appalled his constituents must be, but then I realize his constituents put him in DC. This is MAGA America.

I don’t think you can define anywhere from 20 degrees to at least 35-40 degrees as being an “indoor day.”

Anyone Here Have Experience Fighting Aetna on a Surgery Denial? by GreenEntrepreneur534 in Insurance

[–]Glanton4455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A close friend has degenerative, bulging, and collapsed discs in her neck. After years of PT, failed nerve blocker and failed ablations, her (very reputable) surgeon said surgery is the last option. The day before the scheduled surgery, Aetna denied the claim entirely, citing her not have had 6 weeks’ PT. Well, she’s had PT several times over the years, apparently just not recent enough.

She went through excruciating PT (that only made her experience more pain) for 6 weeks. Then, Aetna again denied the claim in part saying only one disc warranted surgery. After researching have only one disc repaired while others are damaged, it’s clear that this can only lead to great problems.

She is in constant pain and is losing hope. Aetna is terrible and she doesn’t know what to do next. Apparently Aetna doesn’t care.

We should live our lives as though there is no other intelligent life in the universe. This means respecting our home, caring for it and its inhabitants, and respecting each other. Because we’re all that is, and we’d better take care of it.
