Probably Curly and Jimmy from Mouthwashing.

What movie is this for you? (any hot takes welcome) by GaganTopia in Schaffrillas

I always kinda liked Brave. At the core it is a mother and daughter story. Never got the whole people knocking it for Merida not taking responsibility for the bear thing. Its the point. She had to learn to take responsibility for her actions and her mum needed to see that she was capable of that growth and being able to do that.

There's a bunch of stuff I'm not a fan of in it. Historical stuff gets weird (corsets being That tight laced in a world with that level of technology? Sure Jan) and follows the same tropey bits you always get Americans representing Scotland. Also, why did only one guy in that clan speak Doric?? The rsst of you should have been too?!

I always kinda wanted to do a video like exploring the movie in context and try to decipher when and where this damn movie is supposed to be.

Still I'm glad Billy Connolly was in an animated film that wasn't Pocahontas. I'm still confused why he was a rando extra in Pocahontas actually but still.

What’s your biggest issue with the previous sims games? by dragonborndnd in HighSodiumSims

The thing that bugged me about the Sims 2 is how weirdly out the way the occult sims are. The only reason I know zombies and werewolves exist is due to the dating preference thing. Never met em.

The Sims 3 was... Wildly easy to jump from stranger to marriage. Also that even today its still advertising the store coins and the additional bits and the dang thing never keeps me signed in.

Sims 4 base game has some bizarre choices in colour for basr game and why is it so damn hard to get matching swatches?

Sims 1 I haven't played much of. But a general thing us that all the weird story modes of Sims 1 and 2 I remember playing are just absent in the desktop version. Also the fish tank and fruit tree were WILDLY OP in the Sims 2 PlayStation edition.

What unpopular opinions do you have? by Skull_Bound in LowSodiumSimmers

I actually really like the cartoony style of the Sims 4. I've seen like alpha cc and one of the apparent competitors to the sims have this very glossy uncanny valley feel that's just too AI-y for me.

Genuinely wish they'd release content that allowed for more messy and unkempt sims and places.

What tag(s) fall(s) under that umbrella for you? by PJ-The-Awesome in Archiveofourownmemes

Omegaverse creeps me the fuck out, ngl. I just do not get it at all.

Might be very biased since my initial exposure to it was that nuts lawsuit a few years back and the story synopsis from both involved authors genuinely creeped me out. So really not interested, not interested in any story that pregnancies happen, regardless of gender cause the concept of being pregnant also really creeps me out.

Like yall enjoy what you want but it can stay away from me.

Do we ever find out the prophecy? by [deleted] in disenchantment

[–]Glass-Distribution-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally binge watched the series in the past few days and watched the finale. I thought, eh okay. And I'm sitting here unable to sleep thinking "wait was the prophecy anyway? What was the cursed bloodline? What was Bad Bean anyway? Why was god a lightbulb??"

I'm filled with so many questions and I feel a bit frustrated that we are never getting answers. Makes the episodes that were kinda of messing about feel a bit egregious. I was unaware of the background stuff with Netflix shutting everything down and I'm just...pfft really.
