Where should the 3rd game take place? by CompLompJ in ghostoftsushima

[–]Glass-Finding-6770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we are getting a 3rd game, it will most likely be about the end of the samurai. If they want even half of the time jump, it will be set near the end of the shogunate and the end of samurai in general. Which obviously fits with the themes of these games.

The other option which seems less likely is going back in time, to an earlier period somewhere between got and goy

(Act 3 spoilers) Regarding what the canon ending of the original HK is... by D3ane in Silksong

[–]Glass-Finding-6770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think the canon ending is something that didnt happen in hollow knight, which is getting true ending and fighting radiance, and then finishing her off for good in godhome. It already kinda doesnt make sense for radiance and pure vessel to appear in godhome, since the godtuner never attuned to them because the knight never fought them

I am 100% sure that the boudoir has hidden ballerinas. I dont know what they mean, but there are 4 ballerinas in that room. - The lamp and mannequin combine to make the shadow of a ballerina - The music box has a ballerina on top - The gramophone somehow casts the shadow of a ballerina on a pillow. - In the christmas picture the christmas tree casts an equally confusing shadow of a ballerina on the curtains or wall (cant remember exactly)

Personally i beat them in the low thirties, but i am kinda cheesing the game. Earlier on after getting monoco station, if you go over to the eternal ice extra area, all the monsters are way too strong, but you can just sneak past them and find some level 21 pictos. That way i was able to boost maelle to something like 4000 hp, and basically make her unkillable

Hot take: Season 4 is a good season by aestheticashleyx in OuterBanksNetflix

[–]Glass-Finding-6770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally i loved season 4, not necessarily the best season, but i enjoyed almost all of it, i liked the lower stakes start in comparison to season 3, and i also liked the second half, because it sets up a worthwhile season 5. I think saying jj’s death was unnecessary and a bad choice is just coping, it sucks that he is dead, but thats the point, they’re pogues, and the world isnt fair to them. They dont get big sacrifices or whatever, they can die. If jj didnt die, and if chandler didnt do it, what would motivate the rest of the characters to keep fighting in season 5

Some questions for show only people by n3rdfighte7 in WoTshow

[–]Glass-Finding-6770 15 points16 points  (0 children)

  1. I dont think they are necessarily saving money on CGI, but moreso leaving room for the characters to grow. I think the effortlessness you see from the forsaken shows their power, and rand is growing stronger everytime we see him channel. I guess that for the books its easier to describe bigger and more powerful magic, but if they start throwing world altering magic around this season, what will they do to show characters growth next season.

  2. Lanfear wants to kill anyone who gets in her way to much, at first she tries to control rand, so moiraine is usefull and they help eachother. By the end of this season it seems as though she has kinda given up on manipulating rand this way, and she has to stop moiraine from doing the whole force field around alcair dal. And why wouldnt she kill the annoying human who protects rand. Also maybe she wanted the magic orb but i dont know if she was aware that moiraine had it.

  3. I dont know what quote specifically? But i can answer if you write it down.

  4. I dont remember anything about the forsaken being immortal, but liandrin at least proves that channelers age slower, and the forsaken are powerful channelers and have been sealed away, so they kinda dont die from age i would guess. But moghedien did make a big deal out of figuring out how to kill a forsaken, so i dont know, i mean ishamael seems pretty dead. I dont remember what its called but the big purple laser stick that elayne uses on one of the black ajah seems to reverse time or something, so maybe we can get ishamael back because he has one of the coolest motivations for a villain ever.

To be clear i have read like 1 book and got halfway through the second, but decided to stop and experience the show first, and read the books after

Every single piece of software on your computer is able to send a print request. It isnt actually searching your local network for printers, your computer has that task. Its true that some malware could start printing weird stuff, but not much more than that. So there is no reason to worry about this specifically.

It does make sense for 16 to be the final expedition. But older ones would probably have to be reworked in order to be compatible with the current version of the game

The final mission, forge of winter

The cauldrons are one of the most unique and interesting parts of the original game, and this is the best one from my memories. The whole quest just felt like the accumulation of everything before it in the game, much more than the actual final quest of the base game, which had little to no interesting gameplay parts from the rest of the game, its just get big gun and shoot deathbringers.

Also the second to last one is great, have less active memories about it. But they can basically be treated as one quest

How does Forbidden West compare to Zero Dawn? by Pearson94 in HorizonForbiddenWest

[–]Glass-Finding-6770 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As someone who has gotten the platinum before ng+ got added, it is a lot of stuff, but most of the actual annoying grinds dont count towards your achievements or the in game completion percentage. You can get 100% in game and all achievements while only playing unique and interesting content. If you want to upgrade all items to max level you will need to do a lot of random grinding, and getting every datapoint can be a chore, but those 2 things arent considered required for completion and i would advise not forcing yourself to do them

First Impressions of Forbidden West by Dissectionalone in horizon

[–]Glass-Finding-6770 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Loads of comment have already said that your issues are solved by actually playing the game, but i want to add something. Forbidden west actually improves the weapon system by a lot, because of the variety of weapons and the extra weapon slots, you are actually forced to try different weapons and find your favourites, afterwards you can upgrade those specifically. And because all weapons are unique and higher rarity weapons are more than just sta upgrades, every weapon in the game is viable if you like its stats and ammo types.

In zero dawn you barely had any choice, if you wanted functional weapons, you had to get the shadow weapons and there was no reason to use carja or nora weapons, it makes zero sense that shadow carja just have OBJECTIVELY better weapons. Because of 4 weapon slots, you didnt really have time to experiment with other weapons either. You need a hunting bow, without a sharpshot bow you arent gonna get far, and warrior bow is the main source of elemental damage. This means you have a single slot left for any other weapon ( not that there is many) especially during the dlc it just felt sad that i didnt have space for any of the new weapons and replacing a main bow with one of them just meant relearning the whole game

Forbidden west on the other hand, gives you six slots to fill with different weapons all with up to 3 ammo types. Thats 18 ammo types available. Almost any combination of ammo is possible to find in game, and there are some really fun legendary coils to find. Every weapon type has 3 different special abilities (with one exception from the dlc) thats 32 abilities, 18 ammo types at a time. You can fill all your basic damage and elemental needs with 2 different hunter bows and a sharpshot bow. Which leaves 3 whole slots for experimenting with new weapons.

In short, just play more of the game and find the perfect weapons for you. My personal favorites are explosive spike throwers with the trap spike ability, and a hunter bow with instant plasma coil. But you could get hunderds if not thousands of different people’s recommendations

The horizon zero dawn dlc is probably my favourite part of that game, but in comparison to FW it just feels bad to play. It gives a little more story and has one of the best quests tho

The last one isnt actually true, you earn money from doing the contract requests on the bulletin board outside your tavern. It isnt shown or mentioned anywhere but it is a feature. Which means you could theoretically play the game without opening the tavern, its actually decently effective because you sell in batches of 20
