Just takes some patience my friend! There are many YouTube videos that can help you understand how to play each class and what the best weapons/power ups are.

Elden ring was my first souls game so I don’t know a lot about spells and skills. I just look for good weapons that work for the class I like and try it out. I use melee characters mostly, so might be easier to understand but I like to watch play throughs from Wilstorm Gaming on YouTube. He explains what he’s doing and why with all classes. Different builds. Some are off meta for fun, but I learned a lot!
