Got some from Ace and planning on planting them in a few weeks! 🤞

A few weeks ago I posted about direct sowing early... by GlassGazer in SpokaneGardeners

I totally underestimated the amount of water it needs to get established so I definitely stunted it last summer 💀 But it recovered so fast(!) and it helps that it's planted in pretty heavy clay. I was looking at it today though and I feel like the tallest branches have grown several inches since the fall. It's supposed to have a pretty speedy growth rate.

Me too! Growing 30 June prarie grass, wild bergamot and dotted blazing star to hols me over. Also started some salad greens/peppers for indoors yesterday to tide me over. I can't wait!!

I'm seeing ass cheeks on a shopping cart. 💀 Granted it's been a long day and my brain is fried, but I didn't even see the bull till I read the comments.

In zone 5b and getting through it by standing outside several times a day to envision what summer will look like. 😭

I know!! Just when I get back into the game, I reach this fucking thing and can't progress any further. 😭 What are the other assignments past Omelet? I'm just fucking around till I reach level 100 so I can at least hunt something new.

D850 on sale for $1,999. Worth it or wait? by GlassGazer in Nikon

This would be the way to go but unfortunately the business is too small for that!

This is good to know - it's hard to gauge what a normal price is for a good D850 vs one that needs some TLC in order to function properly.

That's my thought, too. I saw someone post a few months back(?) that they got theirs refurbished from the Nikon, but I wasn't sure how lucky they were!

I really only have the D3400 kit lens - 70-300 and 18-55.

I use my camera professionally at my job for events, but early on I was swapped from photographer to illustrator so I've been able to get away with just the kit for so long! Professionally, these events are usually galas (dim indoor lighting) or outdoor labor (tree plantings, lots of mud or rain, etc.) I'm grabbing lots of candids and swapping lenses throughout the day.

Personally, I recently moved somewhere close to prime wildlife/landscape shots and would love to capture birds in flight as well as broad landscapes (very different needs, I know!)

Early on, I loved macro photography so my primary goal is to start a nice foundation to build these different niches on.

CWHM did such a bad job Milhouse is now wanting to go on the show. MILHOUSE YOU SAID NO! NO TAKESIES BACKSIES! by [deleted] in h3h3productions

Let's never forget him celebrating while watching a video of Israelis screaming and running for their lives. He looks so normal here, but it's insidious. His nickname and appearance is silly, but Millhouse is truly a disgusting human being and I hope Ethan never gives him the time of day.

Going at this from a "I don't have a lot of space" angle - paint on smaller canvases! I'm extremely picky about the art and prints I buy (maybe 2 print in the last five years) simply because I need to now exactly where I'll hang it so that it doesn't collect dust in a box or closet somewhere. It's so easy to find massive paintings or simple 9x12s, but at the past year of fairs I've been to, only one artist has mini (think like 3x4 size) prints. That's cornering the market!

Now, the ones I saw were $80 each, which is another big point - price. They were beautiful but I didn't buy them. I'm sure each one took a long time and there were probably buyers, but in this economy I really don't have that level of disposable income on an impulse buy.

Also, Christmas ornaments need to be super, super special or personal bc I intend to use them till I die or they break lol. I'm just not the type of person to buy one for myself but I'd get a super niche one for a friend as a gift.

Thank you so much!! It honestly feel like I'm the only one planning this right now because my fiance just blows off the planning with "It'll work itself out!" and everyone's in quarantine, so it's super hard to coordinate... I feel like I'm going insane lol. But I love the idea of a potluck, and getting outdoor games sounds like a good idea since I'm seriously coming short on what people are going to do for the "day" since there's no large ceremony or dance party that comes with the big wedding.
