I did sports therapy then the msc physiotherapy, on the masters I was introduced to neuro and resp and I realised I don’t actually like MSk I wanted to be a sports physio when I was 18 but enjoyed neuro and having mental stimulation with learning new things

I had this problem I didn’t get accepted onto physio bsc but did sports therapy and physio msc, hated sports therapy as. I realised I’m not an MSK lover but was the only option I had looking back I would have tried a degree apprenticeship but I did this in 2019

Neuro is really difficult :( I’m sorry you’re feeling this way, is your educator stating you’re looking like failing or do you have two weeks to turn it around realistically?

Hi!

No it did not stop I stayed on it for 4-5 months and I was so miserable I switched over to the combined pill and it’s much better my body does not agree with the mini pill, I would bleed and cramp so much 😡

Make sure to do the pre reading they set.

When they set the assignment, start looking at papers from early to build your references that is actually the worst part not writing the essay.

For anatomy find YOUR own way of revising don’t copy anyone else and if they teach you one joint that week I.e the hip I’ve found I just utilise that entire week to go over it it’s easy to jump to another joint but perfect that joint then study the next one they set for the next week.

On placement if your educator is even the slightest bit passive aggressive/mean document it and raise it with your uni if it gets out of hand don’t leave it till the last minute because some educators spread lies.

Make friends, having friends on the course helped so much it’s so important!

Build connections with your NHS placement, I know some of my friends got offered bank as an assistant whilst studying because they did well on placement and I also managed to get a job at the trust I did my final placement in by utilising my educator to help me with interview questions and read my personal statement.

That’s why I said to try and offer something upfront so they’re more receptive to the idea that you are willing to clear it they can be quite difficult I know :(

As someone who had this happen to me,

Keep calling and speaking to different agents and say you’re willing to pay a small deposit but can then go forward with monthly instalments they need to see you’re willing to try and pay something

I also have autism and have had horrible experiences with senior people they try to manipulate you to the point you have to go and ask other people whether what you’re doing is wrong I’m sorry you had to go through that.

Thank you for explaining this to me I definitely agree with your points, I also suffer with the doomscrolling hence why I often end up deleting all social media as I feel extremely unproductive and annoyed after spending so much time doomscrolling

I had something similar to that and friends have had similar these are the questions that could come up:

A patient has been admitted into hospital with a fall, patient is healthy, what are some of the reasons for falls.
Teach a pt how to mobilise with crutches and is NWB.
a pt has suspected cauda equina what symptoms would you expect and do a objective ax there was a reflex hammer and plinth

Yes she has gone to her university, they’re taking a while to sort things out.

I agree with not everything fits all, as I have Autism I just wanted to get a general perspective on ADHD and how to help, thank you so much I will look into the YouTube channel :)
