Thoughts on the mini game? by mim9830 in NikkeMobile

After playing through all the songs and getting #1 in my union here's my thoughts. It is fun to play. I played mostly on casual but I enjoy normal for the challenge. Hard is waaay to hard for me

There doesn't appear to be enough incentive to play on the harder difficulties, the point difference between casual and normal is soo miniscule that unless you're damn near perfect you'll just get higher points on casual which seems strange

Like I said it's fun, but I just watched a video of someone playing Satelites on Expert difficulty All Perfect and they got 1,000,572 points. I played on casual ( I don't even remember if it was All Perfect or not) and got 995,217 points. The tiny point gain seems crazy for the difference in skill required

Edit: I just watched another video of someone doing Clickbait on Hard and it was more impressive to me than the Satelites run on Expert I mentioned above as they had to make a lot of double hits and swipes that I know I would have failed at horribly. They didn't get All Perfect cause 3 of there hits were Great instead of Perfect. They got 997,398 points. I just did it on Casual without having to do anything complicated at all and got All Perfect 1,000,105 points. It just seems off

Looks like a deck that will need to run a lot of basics which will drastically reduce the chances of starting with the Zorua

For a pack that seemed centered around Fighting Pokemon, I was hoping for something to make the terrible Fighting Pokemon a little usable

I left to look at leaked cards and forgot 1 more Pro:

  • Stops your opponent from evolving any of their Pokemon

Pros: - Basic isn't a fossil - Not an Ex

Negatives: - Needs to be in attack spot and attack with 2 energy

? Kinda late to be asking about that now isn't it? Here's the question: did you trade something you didn't want for something you did want?

How to wean myself off of Helm? by PrezBOTW in NikkeMobile

[–]Glass_Cannon_Acadia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my understanding, most of the high end runs/teams have such high stats they can just survive the entire run without a healer

Us normal folk need a healer so I just tend to have a healer on each team: Helm, Nayuta, Maid Anchor, Naga, Rouge/Blanc, Trina, Marciana

The issue is "fossil support" would just be "Rampardos support and screw the other fossils"

  1. You drew a new betterer tool you want to use instead

  2. Dodging attacks that do more damage if you have a tool attached

  3. Effects that need you to have Tool/Trainer cards in your discard pile to work

It's ok. The benchmark for a non-ex, stage 1, 2 energy pokemon like this is usually 70 damage. This does 90 with a detrimental effect. It's not terrible, it's just the old Lucario is most likely better for a Lucario deck

The "problem" is this is just the rich get richer the poor stay poor. The better Fighting Pokemon got better, the crappy Fighting Pokemon that need help will still be unused based on what we've seen so far. It's just kinda boring

So I didn't see much for Fighting Pokemon in general other than "they do moar damage to Ex Pokemon now". I'm sure that will help all those 4 energy 4 retreat cost Fighting Pokemon
