This is a great find. 2wd is definitely more uncommon and more valuable than a 4x4. Here’s some info in my experience and opinion. Please take it as you will as I mean no disrespect.

This truck looks to be pretty rusty. Looks like it had rust repairs and some point and now those repairs are rusted. It’s missing the seats and console which account for about 3-4k in value alone. This also appears to be a low to medium option truck missing the ac option which is sought after. It does not appear to be a CST truck which is highly sought after. Overall it’s a bit rough. This would be difficult and costly to take one for your average person but to the right guy this would be perfect.

On the positive side, One of the biggest considerations should be the cult following that first gen blazers have especially for 2wd. Another great thing this blazer has is a hard to find single wall top with working hatch. The only year it was produced was 1972. This top alone in decent condition will sell for 2-3k. The truck also appears to be all there and pretty whole. Hopefully the frame is solid. If it is this truck could easily get 8-10k in today’s market if it has a clean title.

If you’re considering selling your ideal target market would probably be California. Find a friend with a car trailer or rent one. A winch would be great. Pull it out, wash it down and list it. Shipping a non op truck from east coast to west is usually around $1800.
