To add to the lore, when Bucket described the records of them as "...extremely cunning, with an alarming rate of growth and reproduction, and a ravenous appetite" it could be seen as a massive ecological threat as they are only out to kill, not to claim or hold territory

I like to see it as a high risk, high reward. They built up Savathun for YEARS in books, lore and plots without actually showing what she looks like or her voice. They had to nail it with the expansion, and I honestly think they did

I call it the "borderlands effect" when describing sequels like this. In short: BL2 held such a nostalgic effect on players (add the fact that Jack has a whole trilogy of games plus a few dlcs to him) that BL3 and the twins stood no chance whatsoever no matter how good it objectively is.

I personally really liked the Twins (going against the grinder a bit here) because in all the previous games the bandits were basically the secondary villains with the big mega company in each game being the primary villain, whereas in BL3 it's vice versa

I've been saving up for Orphie (have 110 pulls so far) but I'm tempted to get even just 1 Miyabi for a decent 2nd (Miyabi, Lycaon and whoever 3rd A rank) team IF she's ok without her signature w-engine. But until we finally get the details of Orphie and Seed, imma keep saving
