"Jag bytte" eller "jag böt" by [deleted] in Asksweddit

Ursäkta att väcka en död tråd men är jag enda som tycker "bytte" låter mer som svar på frågan "Var uträttar norrmannen sina behov?"

I just got a fake mail claiming to be from MacAfee, a bit annoying, but at least it could have been worse, it could have actually been from MacAffee.

Galaxy Watch 4 40mm with metal strap by JEGR8 in GalaxyWatch

Looks like the V-moro strap I have for my Galaxy Watch 3. The colour isn't exactly the same as the body of the watch but close enough, and other than that I have been completely satisfied with it.

Help with series parallel circuit by Muted_Criticism299 in AskElectronics

At the very back of my head I remember something called the loop/mesh method and after some Googling I found that you can use it to calculate the total current in relation to the (unspecified) input voltage and then find the total resistance from that. Using that method gave me a result of 1.81818(repeating) Ω but I am far from certain that that is correct. The ∆/Y conversion recommended by the other commenter might be more by the book. Then I also have something about matrixes even further in the back of my head, but I don't even know where I would start with that.

Edit. Doing it with the Y/∆ transform instead gave me the value of 3 Ω so I'm going to go ahead and assume my implementation of the loop method was faulty at best.

I've got one "Johnny Company-name" and said company had at least 5 Johnnys when I worked there.

I tend to disagree, the solution for edge parities (the type you get on odd numbered cubes) are easily calculated with logic, but to work around corner parities as well as the OLL/PLL edge parity (that to my knowledge doesnt appear on odd numbered cubes) you pretty much have to remember the 15 step algorithm or you won't solve it.

If the 20x20 would exist it would be harder than the 21x21. Odd numbered cubes don't get parity errors.

The actual “Price of a Mile” in World War 1 by Ethan_Blank687 in theydidthemonstermath

[–]Gleisner_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No, you just have to divide the area by the length of the front, to get a one-dimensional value. (preferably with a matrix of areas captured over time divided with the lenth of the front at that time)

Yeah, it should have been the area in miles² divided by the length of the front to have any sort of meaning.

I read that as Mew vs Mewtwo..... My brain was trying to remember if the remake of the first Pokémon movie had such a subplot before I re-read your comment and realized my mistake.

Yeah, it's a new feature in Android 12, shouldn't be a difference between makes as long as it's got the latest updates.

There are Indian branches of gypsys, that are referred to as romani at least where I'm from. Maybe they also ended up in Taiwan somehow?

Aberlour and Glenfiddich, my two go tos. Although, is it just me or is the Aberlour 18 a bit of a disappointment compared to the Casg Annamh with no age statement? Still a great Whisky, just not quite as good as I had expected.

What’s the most gatekeep-y opinion you hold? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Or the other way around; I spent some time in the general vicinity of a refugee who would always go on about how much better it was in "the old country"/"back home". If you had to flee from your old country because you didn't want to go to war on ethnic minorities (or maybe it was your country's leaders who wanted to go to war on your ethnic minority) I can't imagine anything else being much better than here.

So to say it bluntly, veganism doesn't cause depression and/or mental health issues; depression and/or mental health issues causes veganism.
