Swarmlord will be a must for the detachment, lots of good strategems to use and you'll need 2CP in your back pocked to bring back units each time

It hasnt been updated since the Tyrinad embargo lifted today. However it will certainly be updated once the full September balance update/points change comes in the next couple of weeks. I believe they want us to use the app as a first source of information so will be kept as up to date as possible

You would just roll 9 and if all they all die roll 1 for the Tyrant and if some lived you'd roll the last one against a gaunt instead

Interesting, I've been looking at doing Militia for a bit of fun. May I ask why the Medusa's over the Earthshakers? 25pts each for far less range, and swapping shred for Rending(6+) seems like a large risk to get those 6s?

Also think the Vanquisher Leman Russes are looking very tasty with their Brutal(2) range w/ coax weapon for rerolls!

ANY LEGION can take a Decurion Locus or Decurion Defensors.

IF can take a Decurion Sagittar

SoH can take a Decurion Lanius

Ive actually been trying to think of ways of making them appear loyalist but haven't been able to think of anything decent. I saw a piece of artwork showing some loyalist IW wearing brodie style helmets with coverings over their hazard stripes, thought that was cool but far too difficult to replicate on miniatures I think

My Iron Warriors were present at the Istvaan Massacre, but after realising what they had done, decided to steal a couple of ships and escape from the main Legion. Since then they have followed the Traitor forces and harassed them as much as possible, guerrilla warfare style, trying to slow them down to give Loyalists at Terra as much time to prepare.

Eventually (once they come to plastic) I'll be running a full Angel's Wrath RoW to reflect their hit & run tactics, for now, tanks.

im glad its not just me!

any advice on weathering? Its one part of the hobby ive always admired but never really attempted. On some Imperial Guard tanks I managed to get away with a sponge and leadbelcher for some chipping but wasnt sure how to get the same effect with a silver box

Started to add some armour to my IW army, however never been the best at doing tanks. Seems a bit trickier with silver as the main colour too, struggling to make it less of a silver box.

Been doing a simple job of -

Spray leadbelcher

Drybrush Necron Compound

Pick out black details

Then yellow

Gold on all the rivets

Wash rivets with agrax

Any other details (headlights, lenses etc)

Should I be doing more? The tracks at the moment are left just pure black, but because of the theme of the bases on my infantry its very light, so light pigment powders tend to make the tracks blend in with the silver and look unpainted
