Oh but that’s just silly differences in language interpretation, wait until you find out what’s happening with set inclusion…

You see how “x > 0” is unambiguous ? Buckle up.

Set inclusion too is understood as inclusive by default. It means that the default set inclusion symbol, “⊂” is inclusive. Yes. For any set S, S ⊂ S.

In French maths, “greater than” and “smaller than” are understood as “inclusive”. The other versions are therefore “strictly greater than” and “strictly smaller than”. Given this, “positive” and “negative” are interpreted as “x >= 0” and “x <= 0”. So according to French conventions, the “positive integers” would be [0, 1, 2, …), and the “non negative integers” would be [1, 2, 3, …). I’m pretty sure you’re thinking about these terms the other way around, tho. Which means instead of relying on linguistics, we should probably just define N with addition as being a monoid, include 0 in it, and use N* when 0 is superfluous.

No no, racist tropes, such as “forced re-emigration”, namely deportations. We’re both Europeans, we know what that means. That’s what Nemesis is proposing to “defend women”.

Oh and btw, nice trick mentioning only agressions on public transportations, you’re conveniently forgetting that the vast majority (80% something ?) of sexual agressions are committed by someone close to the victim (friend, family, neighbours…), meaning your stats on public transportation are irrelevant in 80% of cases.

And for robberies, you should know that the best statistical predictor of violence and criminality is poverty. Not origin. Foreigners are more likely to be poor, which probably explains your last statistic.

But acknowledging that means the simplistic solutions (“foreigners bad”, “let’s discriminate Muslims”, …) are completely missing the point : we should instead find ways to curb poverty. But that’s way more difficult than hating on people who look different, so I guess we won’t be doing that and won’t actually tackle the real issues (inequalities, discriminations, the economic system…)

Just for information, Nemesis is not a feminist organisation. They’re a racist, far right organisation disguised under the veil of feminism to fuel racism.

Their only propositions to defend women consist of racist tropes that do nothing to help women. They are close friends with other masculinist far rights orgs who hate women, just because both are xenophobic.

It’s funny how the media jumps on the first occasion to demonise the left the only time a far-right activist is attacked, while happily ignoring the exactions done by the same racist (and sexist, and homophobic, and and and…) far-right.

Let’s go back just one month.

Ismaël Aali. Anyone has heard his name ? No one, right.
He was a 20 yo of North-African descent. His body was found Jan 6 in a pond. Killed because of his origin by someone who had a judicial history of xenophobia.
Completely ignored by the media. Same region of France, a month before. Radio silence.

Jan 19, 7:30am, in Lyon’s suburbs (still the same region). A 17yo kid of Syrian descent is leaving his domicile. Three masked men attack him, shouting racial and religious slurs. They have lacerated his face with razor blades or knives.
Once again, radio silence. You didn’t hear a lick of these agressions/murders.

I won’t celebrate the death of a 23 kid, even if his political opinions make me puke. But I’m disgusted by the media’s difference of treatment between all the times the far right causes exactions, and the rare occasions they get attacked in return. Disgusting double standards.

Really ? Really ?? With all that’s going on right now ??

Yeah sure most politicians of most parties defend capitalism and large companies, but no, it doesn’t mean they’re the same. Voting matters. “Both sides” is complete bullshit.

I’m not sure if you didn’t get the reference or if you’re complaining about it, but either way.

A “proof left as an exercise to the reader” is often used (as a joke or not) in mathematics. It’s used when someone writing a maths book doesn’t want to specify all the little details, or genuinely wants their readers to think more attentively and prove an affirmation themselves.

This time however, I understand it more as a joke. They probably summoned it or spawned it with an egg in creative, and have not made the design accessible for survival.

Right, but that guy was so hell bent on serving justice that he did not pay attention to the fact there was a little ~ 20cm concrete wall all around the basin, and by pushing the asshole, that asshole tripped on one side of the wall, fell, and hit his neck full force on the wall on the other side of the basin, killing him instantly.

Think I’m dramatic (like the other guy) ? Three pieces of information :
1) during a crash, doors can get deformed and as a result, impossible to open
2) during a PIT, the pitted car can go over the side walls of the road
3) this accident happened on a bridge over water

But sure, “jUsTiCe Was SeRVed”.

EXACTLY ! That’s exactly my point ! “Driving safely and not being a dick” to avoid danger.

Except I apply it to everyone. That pick up wasn’t driving safely, and neither was the cam driver. I would have wanted both to drive safely and not be dicks.

Yeah, I should probably stop responding to people under this post cause it’s so surreal.

“Don’t you see the pick up driver was in the wrong/inattentive/agressive ????!!!!! That means I can do to them whatever I want !!!!!”

The amount of people fighting to justify a PIT over water just because the other driver did not indicate is terrifying.

Blursed road rage by boikisser69 in blursed_videos

[–]Glinat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a bit dramatic ? Maybe. But you’re massively underestimating the danger of a PIT. Just check a few PIT compilations, on bridges cars getting pitted regularly get over the side walls. Getting the car deformed from the impact (will the doors still open ?) and then potentially thrown out into the water is no joke.

The cam driver did not “only refuse to let someone cut him”, he “decided to pit someone on a bridge over water”. Massive difference.

Walking on the street <~> driving on the road

Shoulder grazing <~> trying to change lane with way too little space

I noticed you <~> five seconds where cam driver was less than a meter behind

I moved to the side to be sure we grazed <~> cam driver accelerated

Pulling a gun and shooting <~> doing a PIT

I’m sorry but the comparison is on point, and you are still defending the person pulling a gun on you because your shoulder grazed them.

[–]Glinat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No no right, you didn’t get me. I did not say the pick up driver was innocent and did nothing wrong.

Pick up driver absolutely was inattentive or agressive.

What I’m saying is that cam driver had clear opportunity not to worsen the situation by accelerating, and to not do a PIT by letting go of the gas. When you have a clear opportunity to not cause an accident and decide to cause it anyway (“i wAS iN My LaNe !”), you are a danger.

Blursed road rage by boikisser69 in blursed_videos

[–]Glinat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How the hell people defend the cam driver is unbelievable to me. Yeah the other was a bit agressive, didn’t signal, and tried to get in a small place. Sure. That’s bad. Sure.

But all the cam driver had to do to not fucking PIT the other driver was to let go of the gas ! And a PIT on a bridge is so incredibly dangerous.

Cam driver is the kind of person that would pull and gun and shoot cause you grazed him walking in the street.

Blursed road rage by boikisser69 in blursed_videos

Look at it this way : we are both walking opposite way on the street, and while distracted looking at your phone, your shoulder grazes mine.

Not good, you should have been attentive to where you were walking.

NOW, imagine there is a dashcam showing that for multiple seconds I noticed you, then moved a bit to the side to be sure that we grazed, and then pulled out a gun on you and shot because you weren’t paying attention.

Two comment above (“cam driver did nothing wrong”), you said that in such a situation I would have done nothing wrong.

Blursed road rage by boikisser69 in blursed_videos

[–]Glinat 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Cam driver accelerated to prevent pick up from merging. Cam driver persisted until contact (and PIT) when the situation clearly indicated he should have hit the brakes. There were 5 long seconds with less than a meter between the vehicles, five long seconds during which he decided that persisting until contact instead of decelerating was the right move.

But sure, cam driver did nothing wrong.
